Some of the songs feel very reminiscent of Young Fathers in their production, and while I was listening I found myself feeling more amazed with each weird choice in the composition, like on 'PAPERWORK' with a lack of drums but having gnarly sounding bass and midi guitars.

I wanted to go 100% on the trophies for Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Future Tone, so I had to play Unhappy Refrain.
It hooked me from the start, and is my favorite Vocaloid track of all time.
Truth be told, I wasn't aware of this album's existence until last year.
After sitting through and listening, I gotta say this is the best experience I've had with Vocaloid.

This album is a good way to send off Asian Glow as a project.
I really like the production and the vocal performances.
I've listened to Asian Glow since 2020-2021?
However, this is the first album where I think it has actually left a massive impact on me, and now I'm gonna have to revisit their older work to truly get an appreciation for what the artistry was up to this point.
Overall though? Beautiful.

Not really the project I was hoping for? Tracks like Afraid Of Love or Die Very Rough are some of my faves from Mario Judah, mostly just for the vocal performance alone. This project, though? They got Mario on a Kung Fu Panda type beat.

This collection of tracks has some really high highs and low lows I think.
I dig some of the beat switches, and the first track had my attention immediately.
I zoned out while listening to 'This My Life' and 'Hello There'.
Most of the really high points are in the first half, also counting Doomsday in the second half.

Nah, this one was a huge letdown.
Seeing EKKSTACY grow as an artist and working with bands I love such as HEALTH was amazing, and I continued to look out for new releases, but this isn't the release I was hoping for.
It started with a banger but quickly turned boring.
Seeing people compare the writing to that of MGK is wild, but it's not too far off.

I really wanted to love this project when it came out.
I do like a few songs, but overall it's just not happening for me.

Still holds up as one of my favorite albums from the 2010s.
The melodic choruses and clean singing sections are addicting, which is one thing I always loved about this band's work during and before this project.

While there's nothing that I completely dislike about this project, I still find myself wanting a little more out of it.
While I'm not totally disappointed with getting a new Cheekface LP, I wish I liked it more.

Having never heard of this artist before, I went into this album not knowing what to expect other than what genres were listed, which I'm familiar with.
While I'm not absolutely in love with some of the more trap elements on this LP, I still found it to be a pleasurable experience.
