This sounds so vibrant and colorful I love it so much. Also love that if you buy it on bandcamp it comes with a full manifesto.

femtanyl - MAGFEST

The sound of this really scratches an itch for me. Excited for the future of Femtanyl!

Tears for Fears - Songs from the Big Chair
85

Somewhat hit or miss, but there are some real classics here.

Sayako - Melancholy, Hot or Cold ? ~
80

This is so heavenly holy shit. The juxtaposition between the soft falsetto choruses and the verses is awesome. I know this is just standard Digicore stuff but it works really well here.

slayr - Half Blood (BloodLuxe)
85

The opening few tracks on this are legendary.

drug bug - Hell for a Basement
80

Star continues to play instruments extremely well. Excited to see more from them in the coming years.

Magdalena Bay - Nice Day: A Collection of Singles
95

This is the easiest slam dunk compilation ever released. Excited to see where they go next.

ヨルシカ [Yorushika] - だから僕は音楽を辞めた [That's Why I Gave Up on Music]
85

Yorushika made a 10/10 song and copy pasted it like 6 times and i respect that. Also did not realize how many of their osu bangers were on this one album.

Jamie Paige - c-sides
85

Really, really like the first two songs. Jamie Paige and her Constant Companions era is the gift that keeps on giving.

Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever - Hope Downs
80

High quality indie rock, if nothing revolutionary.

Sweet Trip - Halica: Bliss Out v.11
80

This is excellent background music.

MJ Lenderman - Manning Fireworks
80

I thoroughly enjoyed this. Very resonant vocals and lyrics.

Silver Forest - 東方Starry-Eyed
75

Sadistic love is a banger. Got the CD for like 100yen in Akiba so that's pretty cool.

yamaha - without a choice in the first place, crystallized in time
NR

Edit:
They got my ass. I saw that the album had a high rating and the story attached was tragic so I felt I needed to listen to it, and bought the album on Bandcamp for 140yen. Strange thing to do and I hope they get help

Original Review:
This is a harrowing musical journey. As someone who didn't know the artist, it almost feels voyeuristic of me to listen. As such, I feel uncomfortable leaving a rating or proper review.

Rest in peace, Kris. Hope all of you are doing okay.

Clipse - Let God Sort Em Out
90

This album has insane aura and feels bigger than itself. Multiple moments on my first listen where I couldn't help but grin.

Black Country, New Road - Sunglasses
100

Listening to these old single versions has given me a newfound appreciation of "For The First Time" and Isaac as a singler-songwriter.

Jane Remover - ♡
90

Jane finally released her scrapped project from last year and it does not disappoint. Her ability to continue to evolve as an artist with every project is inspiring and extremely impressive.

Geese - Alive & In Person

Superb live renditions of Domoto and Saint Elmo. The other 3D country songs were great but not quite as electric at they were on the getting killed tour.

RADWIMPS - 君の名は。 [Your Name.]
85

The soundtrack is a surprisingly good listen all on it's own. Definitely would recommend giving it a listen if you like the movie!

kinoue64 - 空間、事情、時間、事象 [Space, Circumstances, Time, Events]

I enjoyed this quite a bit. I think miku's vocals suit this kind of dreamy shoegaze sound very well. It really adds to the sense of this coming from another world. Would definitely recommend if you want a relaxing shoegaze album to chill out with.

"But regardless of all that, it just does a great job wrapping up the concept of the album. I don't think I can express what makes the song so good in words, but just trust me when I say this: give the album another listen. It doesn't have to be soon, but genuinely feels like you are missing something. Maybe I just have a greater tolerance for long songs, but I doubt that considering I have historically disliked long songs."
On Remblob's review of Car Seat Headrest - Twin Fantasy (Face to Face)
"I'm glad you listened to peak, but alls I'm saying is Famous Prophets is in my top 3 CSH songs. It didn't really click for me on my first listen but I've found it to be the most rewarding on subsequent listens. To be honest, I'm not really sure what you mean by it not being dynamic enough though. It has a similarly complicated song structure like Beach Life-In-Death, and has significant development over the course of it's massive runtime. It also calls back to previous tracks, like with the "The ocean washed over/open your grave" line from BLID, the painstar from Nervous Young Inhumans, and the opening lines from My Boy repeated on the drop into the ending monologue. (continued in next reply lol)"
