Chief keef’s criminally slept on in the music nerd space this is one of the most unique (and good) hip hop albums oat.
This tape is easily my all time favourite not only drill/ hip hop album but just album in general. Esoteric, dark, beautiful, ethereal, cryptic, apocalyptic this is boards of Canada at their apsolute best I loved every second of this. You retreat in time and space is instantly a classic.
The extra lofi sound of this gives it this creepy lost media feel like you’ve caught a fuzzy radio signal from hell or something. Doesn’t sound like it was recorded on a Nintendo ds lite enough for my liking
This sounds good and grand but it’s nothing “experimental” or new at all and he’s not really saying anything at all. It just feels quite hollow to me.
This is the most fifa sounding album ever. I love the nostalgic vibe this has the production is so unique and engaging. Distant past was always my favourite song on fifa 16 so I just associate this album with fifa and good memories as a kid. His voice isn’t my favourite but it’s not terrible it’s unique and the hooks on here are so catchy.
