I wasn't expecting this album to be very good. Needless to say, I came out of it pleasantly surprised. It wasn't the best thing they've ever done, but it still manages to sound and feel unique and fresh.
Damn, this was nice. Wasn't expecting this to sound nearly as good as it did.
Pretty neat. Hardwired and Am I Savage stand out as two favorites of mine from this album.
Definitely the most divisive of Metallica’s first four albums. I’d say I really love it, but it’s sorta the weakest of their first four.
13 years, and I'd say it was worth it. It's no 10,000 Days, but still a very competent metal album that stands up to Tool's earlier work.
A great starting point for a band like Metallica. A strong start that still leaves room for more.
Definitely a shining example of Phil Elverum's earlier work.
