Radiohead - Amnesiac
84

It's not necessarily as good as some of their other work, and not nearly remarkable as either of it's predecessors, but some of the stuff on Amnesiac is still really good.

Playboi Carti - Die Lit
88

Still better than WLR.

Blue Stahli - Blue Stahli
91

People: Electronic and Metal are two different genres that will never go well together.

Code Orange and Blue Stahli: *cackling in the distance*

Nervosa - Perpetual Chaos
51

The potential is there, but it isn't quite reached.

Car Seat Headrest - Teens of Style
85

It took me several listens to get the full effect, but Teens Of Style is a great transition album that truly ushered in a new era for Car Seat Headrest's music, having a full band, their first project being signed to Matador Records, or any label for that matter, and even though it's re-recordings of their earlier work, it's still great and a very interesting listen.

Fav Tracks: The Drum, Maud Gone, Something Soon

Least Fav Tracks: No Passion

Beach House - Teen Dream
87

A great album that differentiated itself from most of the pop scene at the time.

The Used - The Used
84

This is a somewhat uncommon case of a go-to emo album I listened to in middle school actually still holding up really well. I discovered this album in 7th grade because a girl I liked at the time showed it to me and I spent the next month or so hooked on it, and the rest of The Used's discography. I went a few years without listening to it, but it popped back into my head last week when I was talking to the person that showed it to me in the first place, and I decided to relisten to it, but I ... read more

1 Trait Danger - 1 Trait High
73

This is a neat little album that I enjoyed. It's really interesting to see Will and Andrew do work outside of Car Seat Headrest and to see how different it is.

Favorite Tracks: Oh Actually, Saturdays Are For The Boys, All My Friends Are Dying

Least Favorite Tracks: On The Run From Cossett.

Royal Blood - How Did We Get So Dark?
79

A really solid followup to their self titled album, and one of my favorites from 2017, even if it doesn’t quite live up to the quality of the classic that was their first album.

Fav Tracks: Sleep, Lights Out, Hook Line And Sinker, She's Creeping, Hole In Your Heart

Least Favorite Tracks: Look Like You Know

Lil Baby - Drip Harder
29

I feel like breaking my neck.

Fav Tracks: Close Friends

Least Fav Tracks: Seals Pills, I Am, Never Recover, Underdog

Radiohead - A Moon Shaped Pool
98

Radiohead’s ninth album A Moon Shaped Pool released in 2016 is perhaps the most experimental the band has been since Kid A. It’s a fairly sad album that does a lot to attract the listener’s attention, which is something I think Radiohead does very well. It’s an amazing album, and a definite improvement upon their 2011 album The King Of Limbs.

Gorillaz - Demon Days
95

A legendary album that truly showed the world what Gorillaz were/are capable of.

Lil Peep - Come Over When You're Sober, Pt. 2
42

Come Over When You’re Sober Part 2 takes a bunch of old actually good Peep songs and turns them into mid remixes. Life Is Beautiful and Runaway are really good though.

Radiohead - Kid A
100

The experience of Kid A nearly 21 years after it’s release will never wear off. I don’t think there’s anything that gives me an out of body experience quite like Idioteque, a feeling of comfort like Everything In It’s Right Place, or sheer emotion like Motion Picture Soundtrack. Radiohead really had to be ballsy in order to follow up their 1997 third album OK Computer, which was already a masterpiece and considered one of the best, most important albums ever made in ... read more

shame - Drunk Tank Pink
92

What a fucking album. I’ve listened to it twice now and I’m about to do it a third time. Absolutely fantastic album.

Year Of The Knife - Internal Incarceration
88

DAMN THIS WAS REALLY GOOD! I really enjoyed it!

System of a Down - Toxicity
91

A true classic that shifted SOAD into heights never seen before.

Monom - Scarcity
89

YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. I was not expecting this. So far, it's my favorite album of 2021. We'll have to see how the year goes in terms of new releases, but god DAMN this is good.
