Aah so THAT's what it feels like to have your ass whooped by an album

While being Deftone's more adventurous album, with its sound palette and textures aiming at a more atmospheric experience, the experience sadely isn't up to the promesses. Despite a very strong start, the record got a big chunk with half baked tracks that feel numb, dry or unfinished. This was my first deftones album and I loved it when it released, but I now see its flaws, especially compared to the rest of the band's discog. Still a pretty solid record.
