Very summery Strokes song. Would love an album with a laid back feel like this
The plight of modern post punk bands. The aesthetic is great, but the space is so oversaturated and there's nothing that really makes it stand out. So, I'm vibing, but apart from Money I don't remember any of the tracks because they all feel generic
That being said, it's still enjoyable to listen to. Just not very remarkable
Genuinely fun tangent for the Strokes
Favorite track(s): Threat of Joy, Drag Queen
Worst track(s): The Moretti Remix
Somewhat overlooked and underrated. This is a great, fun album from the Strokes that feels free and fresh from their garage beginnings. Some of the strongest singles they ever released are found on this one
Favorite track(s): Life is Simple in the Moonlight, Games
Worst track(s): Two Kinds of Happiness, Call Me Back
I gave it a fair chance. I think the album cover art looks cool, and the aesthetic is there, but it really just wasn't my cup of tea
Without exaggeration the best video game OST ever produced. Every tune is a classic
A relatively enjoyable record but one of their weakest records. Dancing in Babylon is atrocious/10
AWFULLY unremarkable and somewhat grating to the ears. Not good enough to be generally good music, not catchy enough to be acceptable as radio slop. Genuinely, what's the point of this?
Easily the best off Simulation Theory. Need more more of this RATM-inspired sound from the boys
THIS ALBUM WAS CALLED 'NOTHING EVER HAPPENS TO ME'
MANDELA EFFECT/10
I'm not the biggest fan of Bruno Mars, but with the release and subsequent disappointment of his most recent album, I took a gander at this one and man it's SMOOTH
This is like taking the first deep breath of the pure, crisp fresh air after wallowing in a festering outhouse for 16 years
This is like the father seeing his prodigal son return back home
This is you waking up as a kid again, seeing the beautiful day beaming through your window and smelling your mom cooking eggs, bacon, and pancakes for you, and knowing school is out for the whole summer
This feels like a classic Gorillaz album released in 2026
