An interesting experiment that ultimately doesn't live up to other classic Agata Kristi albums
Sandwiched between Uragan and Mein Kaif is this album, a deviation into more electronic, dance-like music. You still have the dark lyricism, the great vocals, but instead of hard hitting rock tunes, you have a huge presence of synthesizers. In some cases, like the mega-popular Kover-Vertolyot, it's incredible (that song genuinely is one of their best in their whole discography), but other ... read more

"Can we get Pantera?"
"We have Pantera at home"
Pantera at home:
And the hardest part was letting go, not taking part
You really broke my heart, oh
And I tried to sing, but I couldn't think of anything
And that was the hardest part, oh, oh
Oh shoot, wrong song
Mediocre my ass
This is the start of what would be a long series of really good albums from Agata Kristi. This album is much tamer than their later works, both musically and lyrically, but does that matter when the songs are really good? Absolutely not. This is a great album, even if there are some more lackluster songs in the mix
Favorite track(s): Nishozdhenye, Kak Na Voyne
Worst track(s): Volno!, Novi God, Dzigi Dzagi
One of Casablancas' stronger albums, if a bit unremarkable in it's identity. It sits somewhere between the basics of the Strokes and the outlandishness of the Voidz without mistaking it's sound with either. In the end, you get a very pleasant alt rock album with Julian's incredible voice and rich texture
Also, Old Hollywood and especially 30 Minute Boyfriend deserve to considered part of this album. Both are incredible songs

This just might be Agata Kristi's most accessible album, and it SLAPS
I will be honest - when I first heard this album, beyond the singles, I was not hooked. It took a little bit of maturing and finding myself in the right place at the right time for this album to click, and it really did. Uragan is one of the strongest rock albums in my book, definitely at least from the Russian scene
It's edgy, but tempered. It feels fresh despite it being almost 30 years old. It really deserves ... read more
I just pretend this album doesn't exist in their discography

A rather uneventful conclusion to one of the greatest Russian rock bands
After Mein Kaif, it was evident that Agata Kristi's trajectory was only down. They were still talented musicians, they still sounded great, but the spark was dying out. With Epilog, we have some gasps of great songs (V Taksi, Serzebiyene, Alhimik, and Bileti Prodani), along with a whole slew of forgettable tracks (the rest of them)
I never listen to this album from start to finish, but the good songs make it on the ... read more
Soulless soul, but it sounds nice. The kind of music you would turn on in public to not offend anyone
