Guys are we listening to the same album? This is easily their best album, no kizzy
Kanye is capable of so much more. Trash Last Breath, and use Losing Your Mind as the backing instrumental for some killer verses. It really can't be that hard, can it?
Easily the best single since Sleeping Powder, on par with their classic output
This song got me into Tame Impala (should I be ashamed for saying that?)
Love this song to bits. The riff reminds me a little of Do I Wanna Know by Arctic Monkeys, but many many times better :)
It took eight listens or so to get into, but once it clicked it's better than Alien Crime Lord (and that's a banger)
Genuinely don't know how people have lost the plot. This is what prison jazz should sound like: sludgy, vocoded to technoblivion, and oozing with casual coolness
Time will tell how good this stands up to be, but this might be my favorite song from them since the original EP
A controversial opinion, but this is my least favorite Strokes album. It's basically ITI but without the good songs. Everything, with the exception of the singles (and you know when the singles are the only good thing it's not a good look), was done better on their debut album. It's just not that good
That being said, I will shout out Reptilia, 12:51, You Talk Way Too Much, and The End Has No End
Favorite track(s): Reptilia, 12:51, YTWYM, TEHNE
Worst track(s): Everything else, ... read more
If CUT and Kicking Cars were released by Radiohead, they would instantly be in the top 20 songs of their discography
Far and away my favorite jazz album. No one soothes the soul with the keys quite the way Bill Evans does, and on this album he is masterful. I can't tell you how many times I've spun this album front-to-back and washed away my worries with a hot cup of tea. If ever you are stressed out, let this album help you out
Favorite track(s): B Minor Waltz (For Ellaine), You Must Believe in Spring, The Peacocks
Worst track(s): -
A modern classic. It will only become better with every passing year
Favorite track(s): TBHC, Star Treatment, One Point Perspective, (Anyways though it's a b-side?)
Worst track(s): Golden Trunks
A failed experiment. Go listen to the basement version. Also Supercollider is one of my favorite songs from Radiohead and it's not on this album. Sad!
Favorite track(s): Little by Little, Feral
Worst track(s): I fell asleep
Best era for B-sides. Kinetic, Fast Track, Amazing Sounds of Orgy could've easily been A-sides. Maybe they should've been. I have them on my custom playlist. The album art perfect captures the loneliness and anxiety of the music. Honestly more enjoyable than Kid A. Controversially I also don't think Pulk/Pull Revolving Doors is a bad song
Favorite track(s): Packt Like Sardines, I Might Be Wrong, Dollars & Cents
Worst track(s): Pyramid Song (fight me)
The album that got me into Radiohead and (still) my favorite. Coming at the end of the anxiety-ridden streak of albums starting with OK Computer, I how this wraps up that era. Certainly feels more level-headed. There is also absolutely no reason why We Suck Young Blood has to be on this album. Garbage song, 100% should've been replaced with Paperbag Writer
Favorite track(s): 2+2=5, Backdrifts, WIEAYB
Worst track(s): We Suck Young Blood (what a garbage tune)
What can I say, I absolutely love this album. It instantly transports me into a good, summery mood. Perfect for a casual hike through the woods on a beautiful day
Favorite track(s): This whole album is a bop
Worst track(s): The intro for Pibroch (Cap In Hand)
