You can't churn out snoozefest garbage like this and still be considered a hero of rock
530 is the only song here that sounds good "unfinished". The mumbling actually fits the theme of the song and enhances it. It is probably the best he's dropped since Donda. The rest of it sounds as uninspired and middling as Vultures 1. Kanye, please please please return to making albums as good as Life of Pablo
A nice but rather unremarkable Coldplay track. It feels like Mylo Xyloto diluted with AHFOD
I only know about this artist because AOTY mentioned this album was a must-hear, and this was my favorite track off of it
Am I still asleep or did I walk in on this banger being yellow on AOTY?
This is great. The Voidz define and standout as the forefront of creative rock by their outlandish yet palpable aesthetic and sound. The autotune, the cryptic and vaporesque art - it's all there. I do not understand how you can appreciate QYURRYUS or Alien Crime Lord but not this
Not bad, but quite disappointing. It's not very memorable and the few tracks that are better are nowhere near his best. It's a shame and I hope that his next album (solely Kanye, perhaps?) will be back to the Ye standard that he's known for
Peak egotism
Stills sounds incredibly fresh to this day
Favorite Track(s): Guilt Trip, Send It Up
Worst Track(s): I'm In It, Bound 2
Peak Kanye
Perfect mix of humor, egotism, introspection, and seriousness. Not a single skip on the album
Favorite Track(s): Wolves, Saint Pablo, can I list the whole album?
Worst Track(s): Waves?
Objectively I think this is Coldplay's strongest album. Some albums are front-loaded, some are back-loaded, but this one is middle-loaded, and boy is it heavy in the middle. Starting with Lost! and going all the way through Strawberry Swing you have seven incredibly strong tracks, including the titular Viva La Vida, a masterclass of pop composition
Apart from being incredibly well written, they also demonstrate Coldplay's ability to actually write INTERESTING pop. 42 has interesting changes ... read more
Ah, my favorite Coldplay album
This, my friends, is Coldplay at it's finest but not without flaws. While I do very much enjoy VLV, there is something about the over-the-top poptimism that never fails. It's bright, it's colorful, and it's wholesome. Apart from the split vision of the album (to which I will get to in a second), there is absolutely nothing you can fault on this album
The Achilles heel of this album lies in the fact that it was intended originally as being a double album, half ... read more
This was absolutely awful. Some of the production was good, there were some attempts at constructing catchy pop melodies, but in the end it feels like a crayon drawing by a kid with ADHD after drinking 5 cups of coffee. NOT GOOD/10
Favorite Track(s): One Million Dollars, I guess?
Worst Track(s): This album has very little redeemable content on it
THEY SAY THE WEEK START ON MONDAY
BUT THE STRONG START ON SUNDAY
It really saddens me to see this album not getting the attention and praise it so desperately deserves. To me, this album is a breath of fresh air - reverence for Christ through the lens of hip-hop. This album does not outstay it's welcome (coming in under half an hour), is well-produced with tight and focused songs, and strengthens the faith of those who listen
Musically it is the least experimental of any Kanye's albums, but ... read more
