I don't understand what this rambling Australian man is saying, but it all sounds so prophetic. I have been anticipating this album for some time and it does not disappoint. With its fusions of jazz, experimental rock, progue rock, and hysterical ramblings, I was spellbound and converted to whatever drug fueled cultist teachings that happen down under.
I've never heard of Hannah Frances before. Listening to the opening track Browlyn, I was really taken away and drawn in by the poetic vocals and Avant-folk instrumentals. The album is about the religious trauma that was forced upon her as a child and the trauma that has stayed with her even in the death of her father whom she grieves for.

On Spotify there is just three songs, Hazel, Dartmouth, and Overdrive. They released a 7 inch record in 1997, and had some success, but never signed for a record label. a couple years later then breaking ... read more
