ts album was good and probably one of his best because of the emotion shown cuz it was literally released a month before he died. also Elliot smith sample.
This album shows that even with different styles of sound that nick drake will always have the profound nature of his music. It also shows that there another side to nick drake and that there is more to his saddnes and that there can be more uplifting version of his lyrics. Would recommend.
Ts was a groove fest. it was spicy and pretty bouceable. the rhythm used in the album was very good as well as the melodies and vocals they had an other worldly vibe like you taking weed like chains fr said in the weed scripture. I would recommend.
there are a lot of good songs on this album. they are strong and impacting But in my opinion still not as good as the black parade but still very good its a lot more heavy than their other stuff (but to be honest I haven't listened to much of MCR) and I don't know if I enjoy it more. this is definitely an album id have to listen to again because it is quite different to other things but it is still really good no matter how many times I listen. the lyrics come through very well and ... read more
this is a okay album which heavily relies on drums as the main focus on their sound and leaves an ambient approach to the chords and melodies which is fine but it could have been used in more of a imaginative way. perhaps giving color to all aspects of the sound which is being used in some songs like triangles. but I do understand the approach and it does work but it could use improving.would recommend.
I kinda get why people like this album so much but this album is still pretty inconsistent throughout with there being some really boring and then there being a really good song on. I like this album but I still think that it can be a bit unimaginative at times and the lyrics sometimes just come across as really forced but not in a way that its corny but just that they could of worded it better. also the mixing in this album was not very good but in some songs it was really good like in famous ... read more
my first 10 out of 10. its genuinely amazing like I cant explain. no imperfection at all. extremely poetic lyricism amazing instrumentation melodies harmonies and just everything to be honest. I have nothing else to say tbh.
Hmmm. this ones confusing. I dont really know how to review this one. except I do got you there. this album masters abrupt perfectly going from quiet to loud and more importantly loud to quite. it gives the music more good unpredictability and variety of sound. the theme of hell also kinda fits in somehow even if it does seem a bit more jolly than the connotation but the way they depict it is perfect. this is a groovy little album. would recommend.
this album is definitely a experience. a weird one buuuut with hidden beauty among the chaos that invokes the music. the music gradually starts to gain more genuine nature while still going haywire and earmolesting you ( in a good way tho). it is always interesting and not annoying but always draws you in no matter where you are. the lyricism can be great at time and can be a bit well you know but other than that great album. would recommend. also I forgot to say this music is really groovy too.
This is the first album where I just thought I wasn't ready to renew anything because of the sheer complexity of the album. and I know some of you may say its a very simple album with simple vocals and instrumentals but its much more in my opinion. first thing I have to get out of the way is the lyricism which stands. out to me more than any other. it leaves you time to think and interpret whats being sang and that ties together with the singing which brings the exact same mood that draws ... read more
The interpretation on these songs are amazing amazing amazing. so good I had to say it thrice. the harmonics are so on the note that it make my my diaphragm itch. the way that they build tension and break it is sooo good. I am genuinely confused why this isn't more popular in the community is stunning because it's so great. I would defiantly recommend man.
I saw this albums name and immediately clicked because it was exactly the vibe I Wass looking for and did it convey the albums vibe. yes. from the sampling the slow drumbeats and the soft rain in the background it really makes the rain be shown in a buitifful aspect without bending its meaning if you know what I mean. I recommend.
This album is the first psychedelic album I have listened too and it’s amazing. It’s experimental and the music has a lot of think outside of the box characteristics like using repetition of a phrase to make a beat. Talking about character this album is amazing lyrically and follows a bit of story. A Story of change which I really like. This album is out there and in a good way. It works well and weaves together to make a nice cotton scarf (that doesn’t itch). Would recommend.
I know this is an overplayed TikTok ep but it's actually quite good and understandably popular. there are some songs that can be considered an "after thought" but the songs that are't show lots of character in style as well as strong lyricism that pierces through the heart. would recommend.
very groovy EP not as good as the "†" album but its still really great. the variations don't get boring with is impressive in itself and its a re-listenable piece of music. the creativity shown is good/unique. the transitions between the songs is also really pleasant. overall its a great EP. I would recommend.
My full review on the album is on the un-deluxe version btw so do with that that you will. The added songs in this deluxe edition add to this album some necessary music in my opinion I don't know why they went in the go but they deserve to be.
This album is a solid work in my opinion it's overrated and is not as good as people say. people say it's a summer album and I partially agree but as some others say. 'there are other Tyler albums that represent the season more.now it is undoable that this album is a nice sort of "checkpoint' album this is because of how it reminisces his beginnings middles and contemplars of his musical career. it also takes his personal experiences to as shown in the penultimate trade ... read more
Ive been listening to a lot of Tylers discography lately(in no particular order) and it shows how quick the change between his previous music and the style he chooses to continue his musical journey per say and its a good style well also the fact that the Style branches kinda between his albums but its kinda all one style. the production is very structural and clean (he knows stuff now) and the vocals are also very good (its also a very distinct aspect of his style) he has great flow and has a ... read more
First of all. Holy Peak. This is an amazing concept album that brings you through a journey that leaves you fulfilled and talk about the producing .,like wowie this is amazing there is reason these songs are so popular in mainstream media(spoiler alert its because its good 0: ). the way he brings on this simple instumention(the synth present in most of his songs) and the occasional piano alongside his Acapella like tracks to be transcended to such a vast musical themes and bombardment of ... read more
This is a beautiful album. it transcends the meaning actually its tranquil and vibe. Nujabes was what got me into just hip hop in general and to be honest rating albums as a whole. I found that I needed to express my opinion on his music. and led me to do so in many albums. so you can see that its made and impact on me. and that can be also be said for the hip hop genre as a whole. first of all the genius of sampling and putting together the sampling its like really impressive his music . his ... read more
