Criminally underrated. This album should be in uncomfortable conversations with its next level storytelling and allegories. Herbs sound on this album is the most infectious it has ever been.
Nostalgia aside, these 2017-18 tracks are miles better than his music post 2020. Obviously these peices lack refinement but he was on an insane trajectory at this time, lots of raw talent on display
This album solidifies the fact that JID has been better than Kendrick and many other greats for the last 5 years.
