This one took me awhile to really get into, but last night I was going for a long drive and it finally clicked. This album completely rules. It's as good as if not better than Short n' Sweet. Fantastic hooks, gorgeous production (Jack Antanoff haters get outta here), and the same funny writing that made me fall in love with Sabrina's music.

It's an album full of bops, bangers, and jams. My favorite by far is Middle Man, a bisexual anthem about falling for the girl your ex left you for. It's an all-time high in Couch's discography. Catchy as all hell, groovy instrumental breaks, and some genuinely great lyrics. What Were You Thinking and Static & Noise are also extremely catchy bops, and On The Wire is a surprisingly emotional track about not getting the support you need from your parents.

Absolute heaven. Two more near-perfect pop bangers from one of the greatest bands making music right now. Phenomenal in every sense of the word.
Damn is one of Kendrick's weaker albums, I fear. It's got some great bangers like DNA and Humble, and it's got some great jams like Yah and Loyalty, but overall the bangers aren't as punchy as the ones on Good Kid, m.A.A.d city and GNX, and the slower, more profound moments aren't as interesting as the ones on TPAB and Mr. Morale.
