George Clanton - Ooh Rap I Ya
65

It sounds good, but I don't really get it....

MÃ¥neskin - RUSH!
49

I heard many many bad things going into this album, but still I thought okay maybe it's exaggerated.
But no, this is bad.
It's unfortunate because It does seem like they want to shape a new generation of rock music and they have passion, but everything on here comes off as a contradiction of that.
Many of the lyrics on here mean nothing and are annoying and trash.
Some tracks like bla bla bla or Kool kids are trying to be special and have character with the vocals and just overall sound of the ... read more

Fall Out Boy - So Much (For) Stardust
70

After their last album it seems they have gone back to an older format of theirs.
Some decent hits.
But every track in the middle is average.
His falsetto isn't that good and at times painful.
Decent album.
Favorite tracks: the first three, I am my own muse and the title track.

Nirvana - Bleach
82

This album has a very raw sound, but the production isn't good enough at certain times, compared to in utero.
Kurt's vocals are great at times but other times not so much. He became more consistent on the records following.
But still some impeccable simple riffs that represents nirvana.

Favorite songs: blew, about a girl, school, love buzz, scoff, swap meet and negative creep.

The Beatles - Please Please Me
45

This is honestly so boring I feel bad for people who enjoy this.

Metallica - Kill 'Em All
83

This shares a lot of similarities with ride the lightning.
But the production is just not good.
A bit confused about my thoughts on this because it sounds weird but also fire.
Overall though I did very much enjoy it.
Lots of war lyrics.

David Bowie - Low
98

Low by David bowie is his 11th album.
At a time when bowie was trying to recover from his overwhelming drug addiction.
This album is supposedly drug free.
Bowie himself said he was scared his creativity was reliant on drugs and would affect this album.
But this album ended up alright.
Considered by many as his experimental masterpiece.
I'd have to agree.
This album is amazingly beautiful and groundbreaking for its time.
Bowie lived in Berlin during the recording of this album and was inspired ... read more

Deftones - Around the Fur
90

Iconic.
Great heavy riffs.
The album deals with a bunch of things based on personal experience of the band members.
The opening track hits immediately and it's fantastic, my favorite of the album.
Mx is weird and I'm not sure why... just why
But overall this was very enjoyable
Heavy and raw.

Most of the songs here are very good.

Tyler, The Creator - CALL ME IF YOU GET LOST
87

100th review!
Call me if you get lost by Tyler, the creator.
This album is influenced by a couple of music genres,
Hip-hop, jazz and even soul. This album offers great variety.
It sounds vintage, from a different age, but at the same time it sounds modern.
Obviously this is very well produced like other albums by Tyler, he himself produced the whole album, and it sounds good.
With great production and well worked, creative beats, not to mention great features as well,
Tyler comes out with a ... read more

Natalia Lafourcade - Hasta la raíz
84

Some great tracks here, and some ok tracks.
Pop and folk mixed together nicely.
Overall decent album.
At times very beautiful.
I like de todas las flores better though.

My Chemical Romance - I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love
35

Wow didn't expect this to be so shit.
It's unbelievably horrible.
Listening to this was torture.
Too obvious to mention the horrible vocals which are too ambitious.
The production is bad.
It honestly doesn't even hit hard as the mixing is so bad and just sounds like he Is a massive baby.
This is bad emo music. Very bad.
Sounds very unfinished.
Waited for this to be over.
Let's just say this makes me appreciate the following albums a lot more...

Radiohead - Hail to the Thief
89

Hail to the thief serves as checkpoint in radioheads discography.
It's filled with lots of great ideas, making it quite diverse.
Some tracks like sail to the moon that are softer piano tracks
Or myxomatosis and the opener which are heavy with distortion.
2+2=5 has to be a part of the top 10 radioheads songs of all time.
Go to sleep and wolf at the door are also personal favorites of mine as well.
But some tracks like I will or the gloaming don't do enough and are a tad boring.
Overall this ... read more

black midi - Schlagenheim
84

This hits like a truck the first time.
It's weird, very weird but fantastic and needs to get more recognition.
Black midi are doing things in modern rock that should not be ignored.
Complete mayhem that works so well.

Kanye West - Graduation
89

Maybe a bit unpopular but I think this album is better than the first two.
Instant hits and well crafted beats.
Kanye evolves here and goes for a bit of a new sound.
He does it well.
But some of kanyes worst songs are on here like drunk and hot girls and Barry bonds.
I also appreciate this being shorter.
Favorite tracks: the first four, flashing lights, everything I am, homecoming and big brother

Billie Eilish - WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO?
82

Not as much of a fan of the darker vibe and billie's voice is better on happier than ever.
But this album is still produced very well and has some great hits.
One of the better modern artists these days and I'm a big fan.
Solid album.
Wish you were gay and you should see me in a crown are big highlights.

Panic! at the Disco - Viva Las Vengeance
63

Overrated, but still not so good. Overall the experience as an album is slightly better than pray for the wicked. I do believe this album has meaning and definitely relates to brendon urie ending panic at the disco, I'm sure there are things he admits were mistakes but also believes he gets hate no matter what. I loved the title track when it came out, and I felt this project was heading to a good place, but It disappointed a little. Middle of a breakup is not for me overall (although bit ... read more

The Strokes - Room on Fire
86

It really is just an extension of is this it.
It's just really fun riffs al round. Some tracks here are clearly better than the others.
Reptilla is by far the best song here.

Favorite tracks: what ever happend, Reptilla, automatic shop, 12:51, you talk way too much, the end has no end and I can't win.

Least favorites: between love and hate

Queens of the Stone Age - Songs for the Deaf
98

At first I thought this was mid, and didn't post a review about it because I felt I missed something, and I did.
This album is so raw and powerful, Dave grohl on the drums is obviously amazing and overall creative and very fun guitar riffs. Vocals as always are very impressive, Josh homme has to be one of the best hard rock vocalists ever.
Lyrics wise it's also something to look for in this record.
Very impressive and great concept to the album.
Amazing albums. One of the greatest alt rock of ... read more

Oasis - Definitely Maybe
80

It's alright but some mid songs on here.
Not a big fan of the production here.
This aged okay nothing special though.
At this day and age it's nothing unique.
