There is such an awe-inducing beauty that comes out of this song. Watching her perform this with her free energy dancing around the stage then acting like Icarus afterwards was a blessing to see, it moved me to tears. There is such deep levels of emotions poured into this song that I've never heard an artist that moved me like this.
Am I going to act like I haven't been listening to this song for
6 months since I bought the CD? Not at all. It captivated me then, and still does to ... read more
I've come to realise how weak of an EP this is, sure Open Arms is still my favourite but if you put it next to any other song she's made in a competition, the other is probably winning
The only artist I will listen to hootering and hollering for about an hour
So no one is gonna draw the comparison that this could literally fit on chappel roan's rise and fall of a Midwest princess and sounds very inspired by it. Anyways, the song in itself is great and Olivia Rodrigo is insanely consistent with lead singles for her lead singles so it's no surprise this song is great. However, can you argue that this song is going in a different direction at all?
It's genuinely so boring, of all artists to choose they chose one of the most boring vocalists around
Some of the lyrics are very corny and kinda funny as a result, and there are a few weaker songs but it's a great and consistent album of cutesy heartbroken love songs.
I've been listening to tsubi club literally since the release of burbank house so I should genuinely love this, but it just felt so not them yk? I understand that the point of it being called "trinket" being something as an experiment, but it just felt like unessecary noise at points or just nothing that personally interested me.
There are some fire songs on here though, I have to say BURNMATERIAL and (╥﹏╥) are the standouts for me, just felt a bit disappointed by the ... read more
Easily the best song RAYE as ever released and I am astonished by how great this song is
This is easily song of the year contender cause this is an almost flawless song
First listen to this album was by the CD version, and what an experience. This album is a zero skip 23 song masterpiece and a work of art with the very clear intent to fight for freedom and peace filled with love and nothing less than that.
This album is not a grower at all, it's literally called disco "occasionally" and there was barely any disco or anything, why add a song with violins if you're not going to have a grand ending resulting in a complete nothingness of a song. I loved aperture as a song but this album is genuinely a catfish of an album and by far his worst album he's released. If you want an album that is better sounding genuinely listen to any recent 5 seconds of summer album and it sounds ... read more
Seeing as this isn't talked about enough, none of the members actually wrote any of the songs other than Go. Which really shows a testament to how much of a cash grab this terrible EP is. It's a stuck in the past attempt at making an EP like their debut.
If you look into the song they actually wrote (Go), that means they actually wrote the lyric "when I do my go-go dance."
In terms of sound, the first 2 songs sound like an attempt to sound like 2010s Skrillex. With the ... read more
The deluxe definitely picked up with the highlights from the album in general with War pt ii and Suburban Requiem and those are probably some of the best songs from the album as a whole with their high production and vocal performances from Dom, however the vocals just did not hit on Time, an acoustic song that showed more of his raspy vocals that didn't really match the acoustic.
I really like what he did with the integrations if the original songs but change the instrumentals or vocal ... read more
