It only took them 4 years past their peak to release their debut album that sounds super lackluster and amateur. I know the vibe of lovejoy is to sound amateur and like a indie band, but I really don't get the appeal to this. I think Wilbur just might not have the vocals for the instrumentals that were on the album. It's almost like his vocal chords got chewed into half like his solo career. I won't bring the Wilbur soot bite card to the music for this rating because this is ... read more
It's kind of wild how Taylor swift has been around for so long that you can tell the type of pop eras we're in by the sound of her music, people can say her music sounds the same on every album but you definitely cannot say this compares to anything off her whole discography, especially reputation.
I think the lyricism has really good highs like The Fate of Ophelia which uses Hamlet as inspiration, and then Ruin The Friendship (apart from the ending where she advices people to ruin ... read more
I only realised that this was the guy from why don't we after listening to this about 10 times. so you're telling me that this guy has a song with Logan Paul??
I need to be careful with this review because Breacher and Crypticghost might get on my case and start saying I have no taste in music. Twenty one pilots aren't a bad group, they don't make bad music. I just think it's the lyrics and easily predictable and boring drops that are off-putting at alot of points. I respect their fanbase because it seems like a good community when you remove the proper cult like members of it.
I think their lyrics on self identity where they discuss ... read more
aoty users when an underground band makes a political album and has a song guaranteed to be 10 minutes π±π±
FYI: I don't have a side on politics, I think no matter what side you're on. Suffering will still happen anyways.
Don't get me wrong, most of what they're addressing and what Harry is writing/"singing" isn't wrong, and if anything I respect the groups work and what topics they're addressing on this album, I just don't think they're ... read more
i think he might struggle saying cinnamon
why did this deluxe turn this album into one of the best albums of the year
listening to this sleep deprived on a laptop with 4% battery made me realise why i love this genre so much
I truly wanted to hate this album coming into it because a friend of mine absolutely adores Rauw but seriously I cannot hate on this in the slightest. It is truly really good.
The only misses for me are: Committed, Espresso Martini, Baja Pa' Acá, Ni Me Conozco, SEXXXMACHINE
I really just don't like their vocals I mean they aren't admirable at all and get kind of boring and dull by track 5. Instrumentally there's not really complaints I mean I like that it's different and still sounds well produced. I think the album cover is the most interesting part about this album and that's all there is to it.
a random collaboration but this just doesn't even sound good
take away auto tune and all of them are fucking finished
On a real note is there an actual thriving boy group at the moment? And why is this album so short? This is a 21 minute ALBUM. I'm glad it's short because there's barely any positive substance on this album but seriously
i felt like I was getting sexually harassed in Upside Down Kiss and Dance With You, I want to know who from the 64 writers on this project thought they were good choruses.
Ghost Girl being a song written, produced and given to the group by Yungblud doesn't ... read more
ah yes let me re-release my album with a different cover to make more money off my financially irresponsible fans that don't even own a vinyl player !
I think KATSEYE have a really high potential in terms of what their music CAN turn out to be, but they don't fulfill that on this EP, and I have hope for their debut album to be good.
I think of all songs to be the lead single Gnarly was the worst decision ever, because it's a horrible song straight up. Instead they should've released M.I.A or Gameboy as a single because it sounds more like a K-pop song when fans say "they aren't actually kpop", which is true ... read more
I mean they're okay, didn't feel anything from them, and Fred needs to stop milking victory lap
Shout out the friend that I don't speak to as much anymore but still cherish, Tim. He's the person on this album cover and it's so sick to know I was friends with someone and a person like him deserves that.
This album is pure musical excellence, from the lyrical contents to the instrumentals and instruments. Such an impressive work from Dev.
