This album is the epitome of nostalgia. Minecraft was such a big and important part of my childhood to the point that these songs were hot wired into my brain. Despite the countless times I have heard these songs, the magic is still there and as ive began to play the game less and less, the music is still such a big part of my life. No album has had such a profound emotion affect on me as this one has. I was late to finding and listening to Mac Miller and even when this album was announced I wasn't to excited. This album is the encapsulation of heartbreak and the cold depression of winter. This album tells a story of a heart that wants to love but has had that ability taken away by another person. Leaving the author broken, cold, and reminiscent of what once was and could have been. While most of my favorite albums are depressing this album stands out for its upbeat, jazzy, and unique sound. This album is the best "feel good" album I have ever heard. This album makes me feel like I am floating on a cloud with not a worry in the world.
