Exactly what I was looking for in every ambient album ive listened to. Such unique and genius production that utilizes different sounds so well. Thr balance between the subset drum, ambient sounds, and haunting sampled vocals creates such a unique and perfect atmosphere that I find myself fully enveloped in each listen. It's easy to get lost in this album and appreciate the consistency from start to finish, while at the same time each song is different enough from the others to not get ... read more
This album is the epitome of nostalgia. Minecraft was such a big and important part of my childhood to the point that these songs were hot wired into my brain. Despite the countless times I have heard these songs, the magic is still there and as ive began to play the game less and less, the music is still such a big part of my life. This album is my comfort music. Anytime im stressed out or anxious I can play this album and feel calm. Even without the nostalgia there this music is still made to ... read more
No album has had such a profound emotion affect on me as this one has. I was late to finding and listening to Mac Miller and even when this album was announced I wasn't to excited. And first listen I felt it was alright but it didn't start to hit me until a couple weeks after its release. As I listened to it for the second or ... read more
This album is the encapsulation of heartbreak and the cold depression of winter. This album tells a story of a heart that wants to love but has had that ability taken away by another person. Leaving the author broken, cold, and reminiscent of what once was and could have been. That song and this ... read more
While most of my favorite albums are depressing this album stands out for its upbeat, jazzy, and unique sound. This album is the best "feel good" album I have ever heard. This album makes me feel like I am floating on a cloud with not a worry in the world. It's hard to put into words why this album is as good as it is and how it has been able to become one of my favorite albums ever made. First listen of this album can be strange, his voice is weird, the jazz-pop fusion is much ... read more
