from a singer who's a part of a band that used to stand out a lot, i'm surprised that his solo album was nothing special, and it's not even that good either.
all of the songs feel like they have the same melody but with different lyrics, so none of them seem unique from each other whatsoever. its also really, really boring.

after listening to 5 different id albums, this is by far their best album.
i wish that imagine dragons kept this sound going forward. while i do believe that night visions and smoke and mirrors feel extremely different from each other, they both have their similarities, and i don't see any of those factors used in their newer works, which i seriously wish they did. their songs now are pretty basic with garbage vocals and choruses. this album isn't perfect, but it isn't as hard to listen to ... read more
this was the album that made imagine dragons hated so much.

ugh, this sucked.
i wanted to like this album, i really did, but i just cant. its better than origins ill give them that, but it's just so boring. 18 tracks? seriously? that's way too long for an album like this. if the sound was actually good and fun, then i wouldn't have a problem with the number of tracks on here, but come on man.
