Time, Tequilla & Therapy is an okay release from Old Dominion. At this point, it felt like they were releasing albums just to make cute songs and melodies that didn't hold any significance. Points for the fun instrumentation, but nothing here is really all that memorable except the singles which I found to be really good. Some production choices could have been improved, however, like on Why Are You Still Here with the.. questionable sounding chorus. Overall, not a bad release but not ... read more
Great album, excellent performances. The only issue that I have with it is that a lot of it doesn’t seem unique. First half is great, kickass alt-rock tracks with screeching vocals.. give me more! Except.. the second half does continues to give you more, not doing anything new. It’s really good, but I wish it had some more variety.
It's peaceful folk music. I like it, it's something you would put on when you want to relax after a long day. Mumford and Sons don't bring anything new to the table with their debut, but do they really need to? Not sure the genre needed a big change anyway, but I can appreciate the good vocal performances and emotions throughout the album.
Origins is Imagine Dragons' sellout period becoming increasingly unbearable. Not really much to say here other than it's boring, and filled with predictable melodies and melodramatic lyrics.
"Metallica hasn't released anything good since the early 90s," is what most people would say when looking at their discography. I'm not a big fan of their latest input, and this album isn't a strong point in their discography either. Once again, we get very bloated songs and, if I'm going to be honest, they do not need to be on this record whatsoever. I can credit them for some improvement in the lyrics, but I don't think this record is worth deep-diving into.
Alec Benjamin's first major release gives us a very boring, corny, and annoying experience. I'm not a fan of this mixtape, and I'd prefer some of his future releases more rather than... whatever the hell this is. From what I've gathered up, this release is just all of his older mixtapes combined into one, and it's definitely not something I would return to. There are some highlights but nothing that really stands out that I would recommend you check out.
I have to admit, I'm impressed.
I expected Megadeth to be some sort of Metallica ripoff because, in every Dave Mustaine interview, he can't seem to shut the fuck up about Metallica and how "they stole my music, I tell you! We would be on top of the world if they didn't kick me out!!!!"
This is.. wow. My expectations were surpassed. This is definitely an underrated album in Megadeth's discography considering everyone seems to praise Rust In Peace as their "masterpiece." ... read more
Modern Guns N Roses is fucking awful. I heard this song live a couple of months ago and I thought it wasn't so bad, felt like some nu-metal shit, you know what I mean? Once I heard the recorded version though, I wasn't surprised that it had this negative score. Hang it up boys.
An album that’s consistent, passion-driven, energetic, and overall a fun listen. Foo Fighters have had a really great sound that they’ve mastered over-time, and this just happens to be a great example of how amazing it can be. Love the guitar work, love the vocal emotions, and the pounding drums throughout. Some parts near the end are kind of slow, but it doesn’t take away from the experience.
Old Dominion is a really fun band that a lot of people overlook, including me. I haven’t thought of them as an albums band, but this record changed my mind a little bit. The guitar riffs are fun, the vocals are energetic, and the songs flow in a really nice way. The lyrics could use some work, but they’re not as clique as they are on their newest record (which I found to be their worst.)

Phil Collins is someone who I didn't really pay that much attention to. I was aware of his work with Genesis, and his greatest hits were also pretty good, but I didn't think that his studio albums were really worth checking out until some of the singles from this record caught my eye, so I gave it a try.
I wasn't surprised with what I heard. The first half of the record is great, I think it sounds like what anyone would consider "basic 80s music." The rest of the record, however, ... read more
I always found Old Dominion to be really energetic, but once I went into the deeper cuts of this record, I was a little disappointed.
There are some decent tracks on here that are worth checking out like the title track, but as an album, it's kinda meh. I appreciate the fun guitar solos and choruses throughout the project, and the vocalist is really good!!
The one thing I'm frustrated with is the country cliques throughout this album, and their discography in general. You're going to hear a ... read more
Layne Staley is one of my favorite singers of all time. This album is fucking amazing. So much energy that you would want in a grunge album, or even in any hard rock album.
If you're a big fan of 90s rock, this is a must-listen.
Was in a tough spot in my life when this shit came out, so I gotta say I praised this thing way too much than I should have.
That being said, it's alright.. It's not amazing but it's not terrible either. I really love the metal elements that Muse decided to experiment with and also the more nostalgic stuff too.
However, some songs on this thing still stink and deserve the hate. The title track is corny, Compliance is just so fucking cheesy, and WAFF is just... bad. You Make Me Feel Like It's ... read more
I’ve never found Dream to be a good vocalist, so I wasn’t expecting much from this. And no.. I’m not giving this a bad score just because it’s Dream, I’m doing it because it feels very forced? Like he doesn’t give a shit at all about anything about this? A lot of it is just bland pop mumford and sons stuff. I have nothing else to say.
Great record, some of Metallica's best work, but it's not perfect as some of the songs drag on for a little longer than they should, and the production is.. ugh. If the production wasn't awful, I would have given this a much higher score.
i wasn't aware of their older records so i revisited them to prepare for this record..
and oh boy what a comeback
i love this record a lot.. considering the most recent "rock" albums coming out haven't been good or really worth listening to
the production is arguably the worst aspect of this album, but regardless i really enjoyed the lyrics and emotions that were really brought out to the listeners
oh wow i never use this website anymore..
anyways hi, this is a rewrite of my previous review of this album because my mind has changed since.
so yeah, this is the debut album of the pop-rock band Imagine Dragons, which I have to say is actually not that bad considering how much people hate this band.
i understand why this band is hated, trust me, their new records were... not the best, but sometimes i feel like people just fucking hate this band for absolutely no reason, like i ask people ... read more
