Michael Gira is the only person who can make two of the best love songs of all time, follow it up with an incest bar, and not fuck up the entire album.
How does every track on this album grow on me even though it’s already one of my favorite albums of all time
Literally destroys Mr. Swags and it's not even close. One, its using a character that hasn't been used by oddwin so it gets bonus points for originality, and two, the swears that were used sparingly in Kash Krabs that Mr. Swag threw around carelessly work much better on a plankton song because he is an antagonist. I wish that there were more references to the show because that's one of the main aspects that makes Kash Krab legitimately good as well as dropping the ai because it really does make ... read more
They rip off Kash Krabs and have the audacity to use an ai voice to do it.
Soooooooo...
Presumably born from the song Be Who You Are that J.I.D. and NewJeans were featured on by Jon Batiste, this remix of a Coca-cola product placement song is surprisingly not a disaster and actually a pretty enjoyable song. J.I.D. comes in and fixes my biggest problem with the original song which was the weak instrumental in the chorus. J.I.D. also adlibs over the entire track and then comes in with a solid verse. I can kind of understand not liking this track due to its nature as a ... read more
I haven’t listened to an rtj but goddamn I can’t even fathom what that sounds like. This album has really vibrant points on it, but it has some filler between those points.
Not as good as the first ep but Me Millionth Dollar is a banger.
Would you press the button?
Gunna is freed, but he only makes mid albums for the rest of his career.
Hilarious that they got BNYX on production but it isn’t the strongest Kash krabs song. They just work better on their own beats.
King Gizzard dives head first into thrash and the result is pretty damn good.
Homme puts his vulnerability on full display after one of the darkest periods of his life. …Like Clockwork has a very similar story behind it, but the ferocity on that record felt more concentrated.
This project has it’s moments like all Pink Floyd albums, but many sections falter to come together. The moments in this album that I really enjoyed feel like they’re trying to brainwash me into liking the full songs. Like on Pigs (Three of Them), the end really brings the track together, but the instrumental feels too loose for most of the song and I genuinely hate the vocal delivery on the track. And sheep has these fast runs with crazy vocal deliveries that really brought me back ... read more
This album is like the best steak you’ll ever have in your life, but it has a little too much fat on it to your liking. This album would be a ten if it was simply the second disk, but while the first disk is still incredible in its own way, it has flaws. I would easily say the second disk is one of the most mesmerizing pieces of music I have ever heard I feel horrible that I can’t give it a ten. I really hope the first half grows on me.
It has its moments but it feels like most of the features didn’t try very hard. The production on some of these tracks are amazing though.
