Wouldn't be a music review site without a metal album hitting #1 highest reviewed before getting review bombed into the 10s and 20s!
Not like this album doesn't deserve that spot. It's heavy and fun and energetic with a lot of cool ideas throughout. My one issue with this project is that I wish it experimented a bit more. i didn't fully appreciate this song when it first came out. this is a masterpiece. Donald Glover's character in the video is super eerie and the graphic topics in the song and video are shocking.
I hate scaled and icy. I don't like blurry face. I'm disappointed that this album isn't more like trench. Yet somehow, I still like it. It feels like an actually good execution of scaled and icy's ideas. I just wish it was a bit more.
One of the things I like about Billie Eilish is how unique of a pop artist she is. She pushed the boundaries of the genre with every release, all with both critical and commercial success. This album feels like the best execution of pretty much everything I like about Billie Eilish. The songs are deep and emotional, and the progression on each track is sublime. This album is set to be a staple of music as a whole, and it's impact will be felt in due time.

Nothing about this song even gets close to enjoyable.
Not only a great diss, but Kendrick is so in tune with the beats he's rapping over. He nails the feel of every beat on here so effortlessly.
