Good ambient chamber folk that leaves an impression, but not for very long
Car Seat Headrest rediscovered what makes them so special, and bring an energy to the song that we haven't seen since 2018.
A step forwards in terms of instrumentation, several steps back in terms of performance
Hard to criticize this song when I agree with almost everything he says, even if I find this song a bit corny
As a Kendrick fan, I was hoping that this album was good. It would make quite the statement if Drake released some of his best music in years after the drama and fallout of the beef. Unfortunately that did not happen. Kendrick is at the top of his game, bigger than ever before, while Drake falls into a creative slump, putting out his laziest work in years.
Their cover of not like us, LOVE, and tracks from TPAB are so out of this world good it's insane. Any Kendrick fan should love this, even with the few duds on the later half
I lay dow my life for you is an album that I really liked at first, but don't REALLY come back to outside of EOOOTD. Revisiting it for this review, that album has really depreciated in value to me, and the pure bloat on the director's cut has not helped.
The switch of genre from hyperpop to shoegaze helped Jane Remover with making a much more "mature" and developed album, even if the final product leaves a lot to be desired.
It's impressive that Jane Remover made this at 17, but honestly this album failed to leave an impression, at least for me. Maybe it's because digicore/hyperpop is a genre I don't really like, maybe I just "don't get it" yet.
Deserved win, but I'm imagining a "if I lost the Grammys" song and it's hilarious
The Weeknd clutched tf up, the rollout for this album was awful. I'm glad this album turned out good in the end though.
People who think Fat, Juicy & Wet is out of line for Bruno have not listened to this album.
I'm currently doing a listen through of their discography, and it is shocking how little their sound has changed. While I think this album is the strongest sonically of the first three, I'm not going to rate it that high because of how creatively stagnant this is.
