They are a live band through and through. In the studio, they fail to leave an impression. Live though? Insanity.
"My granny called, she said, "Travvy, you work too hard I'm worried you forget about me" I'm falling in and out of clouds, don't worry, I'ma get it, granny, uh What happened? Now my daddy happy, mama called me up That money coming and she love me, I done made it now I done found life's meaning now, all them her heart'd break Her heart not in pieces now"
What happened to the Travis that made that song. He is completely absent here.
I'm gay and white and neurodivergent so this album is a natural fit
NLE Choppa is pretty good on the track but HOLY SHIT THAT SINGING WAS SO ASS
It seemed like Mac Miller cared a lot about this album and talked about releasing it before he died. I'm sure it would have meant a lot to him if he knew that Balloonerism is finally out after all these years and his words can touch the hearts of others one more time.

George Clanton's presence helps this record stand out from the rest of tv girl's discography
Not as consistent, but still a lot of value.
If the entire album sounded like the last three tracks, we would have one of the greatest death metal albums of all time.

It's weird that the vocals are mostly faithful to the original (outside of that one part), but the instrumental is revamped and reworked. The disconnect is the biggest thing holding this song down. It is still a great remaster though.
Such a departure from the trend, it's insane. Halsey has always aligned herself with current pop trends, but with "The Great Impersonator" she diverts from that entirely and gets introspective, which makes this whole project a lot more appealing.
UPDATE: that fantano review man. I'm not gonna rant about it because I'm sure you all have seen plenty of that. What I will say about it is this: Don't discourage artists from making emotional and personal art. Art is a ... read more
I can't explain why, but CHROMAKPIA feels like a continuation of IGOR's ideas.
