got my cd early woo! this is such a beautiful album, i love the dreamlike production and somber, poetic lyricism. speaks to me personally which gives it an edge, hell let’s all get more biased. just love devonté’s music so much. standouts: thinking clean, the train (king’s cross), countryside, somewhere in between

wish this stuck more to the lush synths promised in the opening track, but the album picked itself back up at the end with powerful lyrics and performance. standouts: live forever, trouble, indio, fading beauty

i don’t know why this is rated so low by critics, it is interesting with some solid songs!! standouts: love voodoo, ordinary world, to whom it may concern, shelter
