R.I.P Lil Keed, when I was writing this “7000 words long review”, I learned that he passed away and I am sending prayers to the family.
Before starting to review, I feel like I need to warn you about something: this will not be one of my regular reviews. In those reviews, I was talking about artist’s previous works, their mean for me, and my expectations from the project in short but in Kendrick Lamar, this part will be so long since I have never fully talked about what ... read more
Ehm...I still think Song Machine is the best thing Gorillaz released on this decade.
I am going to keep it very simple for this review: I was expecting this album to be the next Plastic Beach because singles were hinting towards something a bit weirder and more conceptual than Gorillaz last few albums (Cracker Island was a concept album but who cares bro that album is so disappointing...) I even listened PB again before this album to remind me how good the PB is and I fell in love with again. ... read more
"I swear to God some people only here to make Kendrick comparisons. These people are so corny. GROW THE FUCK UP AND I MEAN IT. Baby Keem proved that he is more than Kendrick Lamar's producer/cousin multiple times. In Ca$ino, he even proves that he realized his potentials and on his way to become the next big hip-hop superstar."
Keem is a very interesting artist. I feel like there is a decline in interest of new hip-hop artists and pretty much everyone who popped off in 2020s ... read more
WHAT THE FUCCCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK????????????? I swear to God I didn't know this album was out until this morning and the way I learned it was through JID's story. I was like okay...I like Jill Scott and I feel like JID and Jill can make a great track and boom: I learned that there is a whole new album out. Out of curiousity, I listened the JID track and it was amazing. Considering that I already liked one track on the album and Jill put out incredible features in last years ... read more
I wanted to take my time with this record and holy shit Cole was not lying when he said this is his best album...mostly. I am not sure whether I like 4YEO or this one better. But one thing is for certain: Fall Off contains some of the best J.Cole material ever. It is a dense album so I want to give my opinions quickly.
I feel like Disc 1 is pretty much a decent J. Cole record. Most of the bangers of the album lands on this portion and they are, again, some his best. "Poor Thang" is ... read more
This Joji album is...disappointing. Unfortunutely, under a very dramatic album name and cover, we have bunch of demos. I am sorry but although I know that Joji making short songs is an intentional move, it does not justify how bland and uninteresting most of the songs are on this album. This album is the definition of laziness and proof of underdevelopment of Joji. One of my absolute favorites on the album is Glimpse of Us Pt 2 come on.. I usually do not rate any track under 2 minutes mark ... read more
