Listen, i've known jev. for a while now and i think i've listened to most of his songs, but it seems that it doesn't click to me the same way it clicks to some of y'all. When i listen to him, it looks and sounds like he's doing everything right. He got quality production, he's not offbeat, he's doing conscious rap. But his music just never stuck to me. I wanted to give you my Track By Track thoughts on Drake's first big album:
1 - "Fireworks" This shit bangs not going to lie. Perfect verses you can have for your intro. Same for the Alicia Keys part. Last verse about his father and family was dope. I mean it's not a masterpiece or a gamechanger but it does what it's suppose to do very well. The 'I am an gentlemen, girl you should give it up for me' line is atrocious though
