Joey Bada$$'s sophomore album is a political wildfire, with Joey giving his honest opinions on the state of America. Joey has been known for his use of boom-bap instrumentals and a sort of 90's vibe to his projects but with this one, there is more of a theme of jazz-rap. Chance The Rapper's Coloring Book is the gospel album that Kanye West's Life OF Pablo failed to achieve, there is a more gospel influence sound on this album as Chance's relationship with God continues to grow after the birth of his daughter and his relationship with his girlfriend. The most bat-shit hip hop album you'll ever hear, amazing production. The fact that Danny is rapping over these beats is a masterpiece, Ain't It Funny is one of the best songs of the year. Instant classic in my opinion.
