as per, the sampling is distinct and the classic charles hamilton flow and topical rapping are present. however, i feel people claiming this would've changed the directory of rap forever are sycophantic hipsters. rap rock existed for years before this and while the samples are cool, they're not exactly groundbreaking
i get what she's trying to do here and it does it successfully; however, what it's doing isn't very good
poetic lyricism, incredible beats and a celebration of hip hop's biggest figurehead in history. i don't even regard this project to be bloated, there's just a lot to unpack and all of it is top quality
2pac is not only a rapper but a poet out for blood on this album; it's really interesting how he began to take the reins on production and how the songwriting improves track on track, culminating in the realeast shit he ever wrote. masterpiece
an incredibly well arranged project with insane sample selection. vaportrap is the hybrid genre i never knew i needed, reminds me of TNGHT, OPN and rustie mixed together
