very early 2020’s (pandemic) sound. its not bad, but it doesn’t have many memorable moments. great to see how far underscores has come with her artistry.
was not expecting to like this almost as much as I like U. underscores is brilliant.
personally, I have a feeling that aespa functions a lot better on EPs than on their full length projects. both of their albums feel dreaded at some point. still, this album is a HUGE step up from armageddon and a great recovery from the rough 2025 they had. hope it keeps evolving, I really wanna see them hitting the highs that their first EP had.

the production is S tier, as expected from any Jane Remover project, but I feel like her approach to rage or any other hiphop adjacent genre is too white for me. I can see it growing in the future.
