not as bad as I remember it being... But this doesn't change the fact that the live layout is way better.
Honestly this is the best send off album he could have possibly given us. Its not the same old usual topics, themes and sound found in The Weekend’s typical album.
It is the broadest soundscape he was ever shared.
His experimental approach to multiple genres is really refreshing, making me excited to hear the future of Abel Tesfaye’s artistic career.
I am happy that The Weeknd ended with an exceptional discography instead dragging it on and ruining the overall quality like other ... read more
People are only hating because it's different from what he usually makes, he is growing as an artist and I love to see it. Switching up the genre and keeping the foundation of his usual electronic futuristic sound is a perfect mix which creates a great modern dance/club song. Some of you need to listen to more genres of music, because Abel's voice really fits this genre.
song used to piss me off now I can't stop listening to it. Retro Pop done right.
Not a huge fan of this album at all, especially comparing it to We Don't Trust you. However this song is just as good if not better than Like That. This song is the only stand out for this album.
Preaching to the choir, but this version is perfect where as the studio version is a solid 6 or 7 out of 10 for me. I hope he rearranges the structure of the studio version to be like this extended live version, similar to what he did with Take My Breath.
The best rap collaboration album I have ever heard since KIDSSEEGHOSTS
Either on or off drugs is a JPEG mafia I want to see every album, what an amazing song. Even though that and the single SIN MIEDO are my favourites, everything else is a highlight. Production is heavenly and experimental as usual. It's another classic.
Messy but has its highlights, Ye preforms better than last time but not great. TyDollaSign is the best part of the album, the features are also pretty good. The production is brave but messy as hell, very muddy City in the Sky which has been clearly STEMed, which to be honest is really lazy. The project again feels rushed EVEN THOUGH IT WAS DELAYED SO MANY TIMES IT FEELS UNFINISHED.
Nothing can be compared to this album. I hope one day someone else can achieve a musical triumph like this again.
Pitchfork: "Dangerous is the last time that Michael Jackson was Michael Jackson." I agree
Man in the mirror is one of his best songs ever made. Just like that song this album is inspiring and fun.
I am sorry this album is easily a 10/10, but I just don't think Paul was needed on this album.
There isn't any point in saying anything, it's just the best disco album of all time. MJ's prime.
This is the reason why I got into making music, it's truly inspiring this album.
