Now on a lighter note from my TLOASG review is this absolute masterpiece right here. Pressing play on state of grace is enough to warrant the score here. Yeah some duds (stay stay stay) but overall it is a msterpieceeeee. Begin again is her best closer btw.

sorry mama taylor this is all in lower caps to show my disappointment in you. only good tracks are tfoo and rtf, everything else is utter slop which is a shame because i literally love taylor with my whole heart. please unrelease this i beg of you. i can still remember eldest daughter gagging me (derogatively) when i woke up at 5am to listen to this slop. i tried so hard to love it.

Sorry why the fuck does this have such a low critic score? This album is so special and transformative. Writing a song like empty in 1997? Ahead of her time. Also i love her sampling of old tracks and reimagining them its so creative. Go deep lowkey song of all time as well. Looking at the tracklist and every song is a hit omggg. That velvet rope-what about run is literally life changing.

BACKSEAT GREATEST SONG EVER RECORDED. Jk but it is a smash and charli's best song (Carly has 2 better songs). Tears is a banger too, and femmebot, and obvs track 10 too. I got it = underrated smash hit. Overall amazing body of work and its her best album equal to HIFN. It's charli baby :)

Omg spotlight might be one of the greatest opening tracks to any album ever its just so doujwhnhwsekj. The overall vibes are just immaculate, and its pure summery fun. Only critique is that it can be a bit samey (not that its a bad sameyness). Her voice is beautiful. I need to give it a few more listens though.

Idk about drew barrymore being the highest rated but its a good song. Amazing R&B music from SZA here though and its crazy how much of a trendsetter she is. I prefer this to SOS but i do love both of them though. I can objectively agree that this is higher than the score given but my personal taste doesn't usually lean to this vibe which is why the score is a bit lower. Her pen is crazy though and she's so talented even if she is a procrastinator.

The way and honeymoon avenue genuinely being top 10 in her discog idgafffff. The rest of the album is cute too but i feel like theres a couple skips here. Overall very solid debut from ms ponytail!

So good. While i do respect gimme more being the opener i fully stand behind break the ice being a better choice idc. Starting the album with 'its been a while' would have been so fab. Its britney bitch is fucking iconic though so i am torn.
That point besides, this album set the standard for the electropop revival in the 2010s, and britney ate down. Some tracks i dont love towards the end but the first 9 are wall to wall bangersss.

Like others have said, it suffers from being too long and having some filler (warmth, moist, truly etc) which can slow it down. However, this album is extremely underrated in her discog, and the control-tvr run people talk about should also include this and all for you. Some absolute bangerssss on here (all nite dont stop, slolove etc) which should not be ignored.

HOWWWW IS THIS RATED SO LOWWW??? Walk of fame best song released last year by a mile, and the whole album is just so so good. It's a shame even miley doesn't like this album, cuz its her best work by a country mile. No skips. Lower score just cuz it lacks replayability a tiny bit

Charli's part on 3AM (pull up) being some of the greatest work in her career then MO's part comes on... Anyway lipgloss greatest song ever created idc. Some misses on here though (blame it on u), and some songs are half great (the verses on babygirl) but then the rest of the song is just kinda meh (babygirl chorus).

A very good debut and atmospheric album. Some very good songs on here that i hadn't heard before despite being a very big fan of Charli's. However that album cover is a crime against humanity im sorry. Feels very 2013 so captures that vibe well. My main complaint is that quite a lot of the songs blend into each other, which isn't always bad but it makes a lot not stand out.
