Admitly this album is often very corny. But that didn't stop from enjoying it, for the most part. Some track have some power on them and some track are silly and overblown. Even the best songs have flaws. Its a very mixed bag but I appreciate it for the sincerity and straightforwardness.
Nice tunes. Some of them are extremely nice (ie Requiem for CS70 and Strings) This is a collection of well produced and well constructed atmospheric electronic music. It also steps into territory that I’ve heard before on other records, but it sounds great. There are a few really chilling, surreal moments I really dung too( the ending of Karakul was incredibly cold)
Interesting. Very Interesting.
There are a few drawbacks and whatevers here, but the rest is gleefully aggressive and insanely brutal. Amazing music and sound work going on here. Really makes the emotions fill your whole Being
Not for casual listening. This is for when you need a punch of madness
Lots of great sounds and layers on this album. I Especially enjoyed the track Walk Away. It was very well put together despite sounding chaotic. My other favorite was the song Southern Sky. The title really describes the song well. It makes me think of star gazing, as do a lot of the songs do. Unfortunately, I didn’t really enjoy the second half of the album as much. The rest of the song, while still great sounding, lack the depth I felt and loved on Southern Sky and Gretal
This is a very enjoyable album, front to back, even 12 years later. The vibe is optimistic and playful. Obviously not his best, but its still an incredible influential album. Kanye changed what hip hop could be on this. He went from gansta rapping to electric/hi hat flapping. Graduation is a champion.
There are some cool sounds and beats. Very techno and fun. But every was all over the place and couldn't find anything to latch onto. the songs kind of go from chaotic to chill and back again.
IDK I don't speak Japanese so maybe Im the wrong person to review
While many parts succumb to trap hip hop cliches or just fall flat, Childish is able to create a intimate, melancholy atmosphere. All of the beats are very nice, the lyrics pull deep from inside Childish, making a picture of an artist who has ambition, but also wants to do things his way
Fav Track: Dream Went Bad
Just found this song.
Wow, Im in love.
Ehhhhhhhhhhhhhh, Its ok
I don't really care, I really don't like Taylor. There are a few good tracks (Lover is especially great), but most of this is not good
I think that this album is a wonderful folk album. There are a lot of cool and beautiful songs on here( Change of Time and See How Man Was Made are two example). Nothing to amazingly awesome, just good songwriting and beautiful melodies
Yes, Yes, and Yes
This album is phenomenal. This album has great songwriting. The lyrics are very catchy but full of meaning. A great example is the My Name is Jonas. The singing, guitar, bass( Especially on Only in Dreams), everything is pitch perfect. Too bad Weezer couldn't keep up with this kind of quality. But that doesn't matter. They gave us this fun, nerd fest of a pop rock album that has stood the test of time
King Gizzard going full on Metalica is good, for the most part. They almost sound too much like them, for my taste. I liked the whole space concept thing in it. It was kinda like the Rush album, 2112. That was cool
I was into this record at first, but I got pretty burnt out halfway through. Idk, all of the songs kind of just blended together after away.
Decent metal record tho. I enjoyed it.
I felt it all
I discovered this album by chance, and Im so very very very glad I did.
This might be one the greatest records I have ever listened to. Right from the start, the song I want the wind to blow, I was blown away at the powerful but incredibly minimalistic sound. Every track is so full of raw emotion. I think I cried on I felt your shape. Even the noise rock track are great. I don't like noise rock, but I love the ones on here. They add much needed loudness and convey the other side ... read more
This is my personal favorite Pink Floyd record. It's epic, scary, tragic, beautiful, and a prime example on how to use an album to tell a story. There is almost no filler on this( there are parts in the middle of the albums that are a little stretched and slow), you have to here all of it to get the full effect. The guitar work and instrumentals are incredible.
it's a crazy, weird and really underrated Radiohead record. I don't really listen to it that much cause it doesn't really stick with me the way that Kid A or In rainbows does. I have to say, there are a few real amazing songs on here, and the album is still much better when compared to other albums.
ironic enjoyment, but I'm starting to actually like it..
Edit: No this is bad
ReEdit: The baddest of them all...
