Asian Glow needs to lock in on the cohesion of their musical ideas if they really want to hone in on a 80+ album it seems.
The first track of the album is a really difficult listen—in a good way. However, the gimmick starts to run dry after about 10 minutes of droning and foley, at which point it becomes difficult to listen to in a bad way. While it never becomes lethargic (a point in its favor), it does start to feel a bit pretentious.

Every single track sounds identical to the original recording, he has a nice voice but if you remove the persona from the songs there is nothing original or interesting about the music, it's just Christmas covers, nothing more nothing less.

edit: had to change this rating up after giving this album more time. What an amazing work of art
may be overrated cause he's the king of pop, but I do think this is incredible in many ways
