This is genuinely the worst thing I have ever listened to. I have an unhealthy hatred for this album and everyone responsible for its existence. This is inexcusable. Every aspect of this pile of shit is utterly humiliating to all of music. It’s so bad in fact that it made me think fondly of what used to be my least favorite album, Tortured Poet’s Department. I’ve raised that album from 5/100 to 15/100 because even an uninspired, sleep inducing record that barely qualifies as ... read more
I don’t know, this one really just didn’t work for me. It felt very samey, and what it did have just didn’t sound good. The drums are nice, but there’s pretty much no melody and the vocals are miserable.
Fav song was Hurricane
Might be my favorite Death Grips album, super bouncy and innovative.
Favorite song: Birds
Least favorite song: Bootleg
I didn’t know there could be a cloud rap album I really like, this project is just lovely, not much else to say. Its hard to pick favorites too because all the songs are pretty much equally as good.
I’m definitely missing something, maybe this rating will change someday, but as for now I didn’t really find it anything special. I love what it tries to go for but it just drags on for so long.
This is honestly way better than I thought it would be. The only thing really holding it back is all the goofy vocals. The beats are great.
Favorite song: Shhhh
A lot of this is carried by the melodies in the original soundtrack, but that doesn’t stop it from being good.
Favorite song: Pecharunt
Least favorite song: Team Star Boss
This album is just a very unique and solid sound. Very very fun :)
I love all the songs equally
Fantastic, emotional, and extremely well produced. Listening in order adds so much to this album with the way it progresses, especially with the transition from Cigarettes and Alcohol to D.Y.H.H.
But that doesn’t save it from losing points for some of the songs being very corny
Favorite song: Title track
Least favorite song: Silence All The Haters
It really missed a lot of things, but being full of bangers is good enough for me.
Favorite song: Armed and Dangerous
Least favorite song: GTA
A modern classical masterpiece, one of the most cinematic albums I’ve heard to this date.
Favorite song: The Grimm Troupe or Pale Court
Least favorite song: Daughter if Hallownest
What could I even say? It’s just a good album. Not all albums have something you can say about them.
I love you Peggy but this is kinda buns :(
Nobody kill me I just don’t like the style this one goes for, the really high pitched voice with Peggy’s inflections does not mix.
Favorite song: Fentanyl Tester
Least favorite song: Lean Beef Patty
This is the definition of a second half carried album. The first half is honestly forgettable. Not bad, but very forgettable. The second half has some just amazing songs. There’s a little series of vibe based songs that remind me of TA13OO that I absolutely loved. Is cozy rap a term? Probably not but I feel like Denzel is a master at making cozy rap songs. Then the album ends with a few songs with excellent cuts. Overall just fantastic, even if it is ending carried.
THIS ALBUM IS SO COOL. It’s so whimsical and silly but so epic and well produced. First album to make me both laugh and cry, it feels like watching a whole ass movie. This is everything I love about Twilight Force. The choir work here is PHENOMENAL too, really every part of the performance is, Alessandro’s voice is SO well suited for this style and the melodies are just out of this world.
Favorite song: All of them
I really don’t get it
I’ve heard this called a concept album, and I think it’s exactly that, a neat concept. It fails on most every front other than being a sort of interesting idea.
Favorite song: Buckingham Green
Least favorite song: The Blarney Stone
This album is such an engaging listen, every song brings something unique and interesting to the table that I could not have expected. Vylet has such a mastery of so many different styles and genres that are all present here. For the most part, it just gets better and better as it goes on. The melodies are perfect as well.
Favorite song: Constellation Cradle or Carousel
Least favorite song: Futura
Overall just an extremely consistent album with lovely instrumentals and flow. NWA’s voices fit their style so well. This album is just the perfect example of what I think of as gangster rap.
Favorite song: Fuck Tha Police
