The new tracks improve this album quite a bit!
Best songs: Sk8er Boi, Complicated, I Don't Give, Unwanted, Losing Grip, Breakaway, Things I'll Never Say
Worst song: I'm With You
You can tell that she lost her hunger since she realised she is set for life now and doesn't need to do much and still be rich....but this was a HUUUGE step up from her previous album. I am not sure she'll make something as good as 777 again but I had a lot of fun with this one!
Best songs: Okayyy (with Doja Cat), Onnat, Gimme Dat, Need Luv 2 (with Sexyy Red), Mama (with Jelly Roll), GOMF (with GloRilla), Get Money Girl
Worst song: Somebody
Even more inconsistent than usual and feels forced for a lot of this. It never really commits. It was built as a return to her rock sound...but it really isn't outside of Bite Me. With that being said it had a pretty good start and I'll never dislike Avril, just disappointing by her standards tbh.
Best songs: Bite Me, Bois Lie (with MGK)
Worst song: Dare To Love Me
Idk this just felt like a watered down version of Avril tbh (Let Me Go one of her best though)
Best songs: Let Me Go (with Chad Kroeger), Hush Hush, Bad Girl (with Marilyn Manson)
Worst song: Sippin' On Sunshine
There's a really odd 3 track dip in quality (boring ass ballads 3 times in a row) that completely throws off this album. Why they were placed in the middle i do not know but other than that it was good.
Best songs: What The Hell, Remember When, Wish You Were Here, Goodbye, Smile, 4 Real
Worst song: Everybody Hurts
Dude I fucking loooooooooove Avril just banger after banger after banger after banger
Best songs: Girlfriend, Everything Back But You, The Best Damn Thing, I Will Be, When You're Gone, I Can Do Better, I Don't Have To Try
Worst song: Contagious
Possibly the most consistent record I've ever heard tbh. I fucking love this soundscape for Avril and every single track here bangs and got saved.
Best songs: Slipped Away, Freak Out, Don't Tell Me, Fall To Pieces, He Wasn't, Nobody's Home, How Does It Feel
Worst song: Who Knows
Mum music my beloved
Best songs: Tell Me It's Over, Head Above Water, Dumb Blonde, Bigger Wow, I Fell In Love With The Devil, Goddess, Warriors
Worst song: Crush
Started out pretty good and I like the formula but the formula of these tracks are repeated throughout so the songs often lose steam as they go on due to it really being nothing different. A good foundation, but should've been expanded on more.
Best song: Slap On The Wrist
Worst song: The Answer
Room to grow but the performance just is not there whatsoever. There are so many other artists who make this exact music but actually sound invested that deserve the spotlight that she is receiving
Best songs: Something To Lose (with Vincent Mason)
Worst songs: Thinkin' Bout You, Boston
Honestly I thought this was a big step up in production and performance from some of his previous albums but the tracks were just so repetitive and the lyrics weren't good which dragged this project down a fair bit for me.
Best songs: Whisper My Name, National Treasures, Make Them Know, 2 Hard 4 Radio
Worst song: Make Them Pay
I really find this concept fascinating. the mockingbird side is the first half, which is him making easy-listening, ordinary modern country tracks. Then THE CROW side flips this, he no longer plays it safe, he wants to be his own man and stand out. The title track was really effective at selling this...but that was literally it. He isn't a crow on the second half, he's just an angry mockingbird that doesn't realise he's a mockingbird. The songs instead of being very safe ... read more
I like his voice but as an Album this just did not click for me at all tbh
Best songs: Covert Me Up, Live Oak
Worst song: New South Wales
Without question the worst kpop project I have ever heard. Anyone who likes this must be either deaf, racist or AI because What The Actual Fuck Is This Shit.
Least awful song: REDRED
Worst songs: everything else
Idk I just didn't feel anything listening to this.
Best song: Mamihlapinatapai
Worst song: It's Me
Thoughts i had while listening:
• The sudden sound shift from the verses to the chorus in Middle Of Nowhere doesn't transition at all and feels very random which turns it from a really nice song into just a decent one
• I've come around on Dry Spell. Her delivery isn't really giving much and she doesn't sound incredibly invested but it's literally a song about getting none so her giving nothing to the song makes sense and it sounds nice

The features did the best from what they could!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Best song: Puss Puss (with Robyn)
Worst song: Midnight Sun (with PinkPantheress)
Following all the country slop we've been getting lately, where singers sounding like they could not care less about their songs (with the only real exceptions within the mainstream being Luke Combs and often Ella Langley) is becoming all the more common, it feels refreshing hearing an artist put their all into a project. Tenille's vocals are great and she always nails the moment. The songwriting and production may just be classic country tropes, but she pulls it off perfectly and ... read more
