Such a fantastic debut and the first release in 2026 that finally made me sit down and LOCK IN. Truly a non-skip album that gets better with each subsequent listen and I'm just soooo excited to see what Hemlocke Springs is gonna serve in the future cause I truly believe there are still ways that she can improve her sound.
Highlights: the beginning of the end; head, shoulders, knees, and ankles; w-w-w-w-w; sever the blight, be the girl!
Obviously, it's not the second coming of BRAT but it's still very ambitious and great listen. The run from House to Chains of Love is soooo great that if the rest of the songs were the same quality this could have been another 10/10 for me, unfortunately the things do lose a little bit of a heat in the second half.
Altar is just alright for me it doesn't really stick out. Eyes of the world would probably be another highlight for me if not for a really out of place Sky Ferreira ... read more
The instrumentation on Shhugar is actually quite enjoyable, but the elements that holds this record back from me the most are very cringy, early Lana Del Ray lyrics. I assume they were suppose to be edgy, emanating this Black Widow energy but instead they ended up sounding very cringy and off-putting. Best example of that is the poem in the beginning "Cutting Up Peaches" (way to repulse listeners in the very beginning), where Baby Nova whispers cringy lines. The other edgy but cringy ... read more
Very chill, low-key album. I guess it's nice to put it in the background and not think about what you are listening too much cause especially the first half it can get a bit samey and boring. You can only listen to so many songs where the singer is so low energy
Ugh not a fan of this one. The production just sounds so punchless and flat the whole time and Jenny vocals are botherline tiresome at times. Besides maybe Quicksand Heart and Every Ounce of Me there isn't anything worth mentioning.
Never really listened to the entire IDK project so didn't have any expections coming in and ended up really enjoying it. It's a little bit uneven; first half being much better than the second one but it's so catchy I caught myself humming "Turnin' a hat into a halo" throughout the day.
I just don't think I'm the target audience. The instrumentation is there but the spoken word gimmick gets tiring super quickly and I don't always see the cleverness of the poetry that the fans seems to be connecting with. On top of that the production has been done by Cate Le Bon who I'm not the biggest fan of either so all of this just making the album I bounced off completely.
This is barely an album considering that 6 "songs" in it are just mostly cringe interludes ("Focus" sounds like something you would see in those tiktoks that mock GCSE drama performances). Besides that, I feel Agnes is trying so hard to make something artsy and futuristic, but it just ends up sounding very bland and outdated. In the end, it's just gonna be music that you might hear on a radio while driving your car but I don't see the point in reaching out for it ... read more
I came into this album with no hype as I pretty much never really cared about A$AP's music and I will say I've came out of it feeling mostly positive about it. There are quite a lot of songs that I just don't care about or I find a bit annoying but the highlights are very strong. Especially Robbery with Doechii but tbf at this point I believe that she can make any track 10 times better so maybe that's why.
It's not "bad" per se, but it's just sooo god damn derivative. Like most of the songs sound like an Ariana Grande rip-off (with "for the night" sounding like a Billie Eilish song). The edm tracks are definitely the best out of them all but still I wish they had more bite vocally to them. "Make you mine" feels like a demo sent out to a singer that will actually add personality to the track
This is just K-pop by the numbers. As inoffensive as it can possibly be and I would literally not remember a single song out here if it was not for a "Cocktail Dress"
First time listening to melodic hardcore and must say this has been pretty good. I like how each song gets more intense as it moves along and the vocals are really selling the EP. The singer sounds less like he is screaming but more like he is crying out the lyrics which adds to the overall experience. I'm pretty curious how would the whole LP look like.

Nice, short EP mostly comprised of 2 minute songs. They flow one to another really well to the point where you might miss where one finishes and the other starts.
It starts strongly with "Something Light" and "Yellowstone" but unfortunately in the middle there is "Rockstars" which is a 6 minute song with multiple collaborators. It's not a bad one but it definitely kills the flow of the EP. The loop that plays throughout the song gets annoying quite quickly with ... read more
I would probably enjoy this EP more if I was able to find the lyrics anywhere online. Unfortunately as a foreigner at points I wasn't able to make out what was being said and all I was left with were the loops repeating over and over on all seven tracks. And don't get me wrong they are not bad, especially on the songs like "Shine", "Evangelist" and "Kwanzaa" but in the overall picture they do feel kind of similar.

The thing that really made the album click for me is the beautiful lyricism. Record starts with enchanting "Married in Mount Airy" in which Nicole reminisce on the lovely start of what would later turn out to be an abusive relationship. Her love is proved on both "Dogwood", where narrator is ready to fight God to keep her flawed husband alive, and "The Darling True" where she admits that besides that she knows he will be the death of her she chooses to stay. There is not much to say about "Oxidized Archive" besides the fact that it's a great, energetic album that doesn't overstay it's welcome being only 26 minutes long. The strongest aspect of the album are definitely the transitions. The songs run smoothly from one to the other and if you don't really pay attention you might not even noticed they have switched. Definitely recommended listen and I'm curious for more to come.

"Invisible Multicolore" is one of those albums that on the first listen enchanted me and then as I delved deeper and deeper into it I realised that it is in fact kind of shallow. There are essentially 5 songs on this short album (one being an interlude that you might miss if you blink and an instrumental of one of the songs) and only two of them have stood out for me; that being "Implosion Couleurs Multiples" and "Vision Kaleidoscopique". The latter being elevated ... read more
First of all can we talk about how beautiful is that album cover! I literally cannot stop looking at it. Anyway, "The Blissful Sounds of Miracula" is an album that really makes me feel like I'm entering some unknown fantasy world. The opener feels so mysterious and "Maybe" that comes afterwards just gives the vibe of traversing through some mystical yet gorgeous forest. "Butteflies/Angels" or " The Blissful Sounds" sound to me like a soundtrack from some ... read more
Really nice EP to put in a background when you just want to unwind after a long day. It's nothing groundbreaking but every song is just so smooth and relaxing. I like how the songs just flow from one to another and the fact that it's only 20 minutes doesn't make it exhausting. At the end of the day I think Dende has the potential to drop a really good RnB record in the future.
