A touching concept piece that mixes upbeat dance tracks with slower ballads in an overarching theme of having to let go of past regrets to move on. I already liked The Weeknd's songs before going in, but I didn't expect him to go this deep and pay off handsomely (features notwithstanding). Maybe I'll get into "After Hours" later.

This up-and-coming trio bring in some mellow and upbeat vibes, though I'm on the fence with this debut LP. I don't know why, but to me, they remind me a bit of twenty one pilots. Not that I have anything against twenty one pilots. Plus, they have an excessive reliance on hooks.

The group welcomes in then-new singer Anette Olzon with a collection of tracks fit for her voice. Personally though, I'd do without the tracks clearly about the Tarja drama.

Everything that made up the Oils' spirit and appeal is very much diluted into the most basic acoustic and jazz-like pieces with little important messages thrown in.
