The 2nd full-length studio album from Sprain, The Lamb as Effigy, is by far the most important album to me. It had given so much influence on me through how I make art now. I have never agreed more with an album with its lyrics and just how it sounds all around. Forever Howlong by Black Country, New Road is their second best to date. Going down their discography, this is NOTHING like they've done before. For The First Time was gritty, visceral, all around post punk. Ants From Up There was rock sure but they slowly leaned into pop while still featuring a guitar on every track except for "Mark's Theme." Live At Bush Hall was prog POP??
