A bit too pretentious for my liking but some of the musicality is good.

I know some people I used to know would be proud. Took months to finally get to this but I overhated this album. It's really great. (Also not well known)
This album is dark and haunting. With a lot of the intros being entransic.
History Always Favours The Winners, but no one Is winning here. Not much to comment on as It's not too crazy yet but still just as somber and sad as the one before it.
I know what I'm doing might not be good for my mental health. I've seen people get shattered by this. But I will be doing all of these parts in a row. Might have some breaks might do It in a few days time but I am finally getting to this. I used to be so into the overall story behind these albums but never got around to listening to them.
This type of album hits home to me since my grandmother is currently losing her battle to dementia and has been for sometime now. I can't help ... read more

I really love his voice on both of these albums. Not to mention just like with Elliot Smith's music, these tracks sound warm because of the vinyl crackle. It really adds to it and improves all of the tracks. I wish more people utilized this.
The songs themself seem very simple but they uphold a lot of emotion in them. Nick's guitar playing is very calm and smooth at the same time. It's very mellow to listen to.

One of the most ominous and thought provoking albums of the early 90's. Slow riffs then picks up into fast Hardcore rock ballads. This is one of the best records of all time.
I was not a big fan of the spoken word but now I realized that is what makes this album great and standout. I wish Slint made more music but alas, they never will.

This album is a strange one for me. I both love it and think it's just okay.
The Raven That Refused To Sing is a masterclass on how to make such an amazing album almost completely by yourself. This is just wonderful.
Not nearly as experimental as his other work. Not bad just meh.
Yes has been a band I appreciated form a distance. Rather than listen to them more than once.
Ween. A band I grew to love the past coming months. One of the best bands of all time. Most bands are not better live, or even remotely as good. For a band like ween, where most of the brown comes from studio warping techniques. They sound just as brown and just as good live! Sometimes.. Way better. This live album was amazing and one of the best live performances that have ever happened.
Not too different from the live. Worse for sure also Tyler fails aura farming here
This album is not as great as some might claim it to be. These songs overstay their welcome and can be a bore after a bit. Especially if you know them for their more, intense style of music.
This is incredible. I thought all grunge music would sound the same (Like Nirvana) but this is way different. This is heavy, dark and depressing. All of these songs are incredible. It can be a calm, dad rock ballad or an intense metal track. You really get to pick your poison with this album here. Amazing debut for Alice In Chains.
Not only is he a weirdo, cheater and insufferable human being. He also makes music that offends even those with the most trained ears.
This piece is way more mellow sounding but still has a sound of dramatic-ness. 30 minutes of solid piano work. After getting some inside knowledge about how their music is made, It make me appreciate this more. It is really impressive nevertheless.
