i really love this album. used to listen to me and your mama every day before highschool. glover sticks to his classic funk influences so strongly, yet puts his own great little spin on every song here. his voice pairs so well with the instrumentals at both the somber lows to the explosive highs. really glad this album exists
man i really loved this album when it came out, would listen to it all the frigging time for a long while. nowadays i dont really like it just as much, whether thats because ive outgrown the sound itself or just who i was as a music fan and person at the time, whatever. its still pretty damn great, some of tylers best work is on here. maybe if i go through another breakup ill get back into this album, but for now itll sit where its at.
how to do horrorcore right. i remember being obsessed with this album when it came out and it still packs a pretty hefty punch. strange, abrasive production and impressive storytelling. love the cover art too
a little rough and a few songs arent as great as others, but for the most part is spectacular. a fitting album for DOOM's first solo work
classic goofy ass funk. very very fun to listen to. thanks bootsy
a great 90s hiphop crew album, a bit clunky at times but it only adds to the charm. love almost every idea here.
weird, but really sweet at the same time. full of charm and just a nice listen, with the added benefit of nostalgia
great lyricism, great beats, jay z at his best. just a simple, good hiphop album
bangers all the way thru with only a couple slower/awkward sounding parts.
danny brown does a great job getting real on this album and talking about things he feels need to be said. immersive
shoutout baby keem. some things dont stick like they should, but theres some absolute gems here.
one of my fav DOOM albums. apocalyptic, dark, and just as wordplay-heavy as youd expect DOOM to be. THATS THAT and Gazzilion Ear are some of DOOMs best, and Batty Boyz is funny
