Wow I mean wow. This album is truly amazing. It fits her vibe of hopelessness and hurting romance but it also is strikingly different from her previous albums. I felt that this one was a bit more positive and spoke more highly of love than her previous albums. This album really highlights the ties between love and suffering. I’ve been recently learning a lot about the concept of human suffering and its such a horrible scary thing but its something that a lot of art stems from. Arguably most art. When you see media that’s depicts a hard time someone went through or a pain someone felt either emotionally or physically that’s stemming from human suffering. Really liked how it managed to be both calming but interesting at the same time. I feel like some ambient music can kind of just sound like a ton of boring sounds mixed together but this was not in that category. I felt like i was listening to the stars. Love it.
