what can i say about this song that wasn't already said? it is probably the best pop-punk song to ever grace this planet. necessarily, not my favorite MCR song but it is the song that i show to people when i show them this band.

not to be dramatic but i've always had a fear of losing a loved one and this track hits very close to home. i always get teary eyed whenever i listen to it, it is the most spine-chilling thing i have ever heard and i can't describe how gorgeous the instrumentals sound.

absolutely gorgeous, fell in love with it the second that chorus hit

it is not the best cover they have, but at least it has it's character unlike some other covers that adds nothing to the original song

what a fucking banger. the energy that is present on this song is completely unmatched.

i can't tell you how much joy it brings me to hear that riff in the beginning. probably the song that made me fall into the MCR rabbit hole.

never heard such a glorious instrumental backed up by lyrics about suicide and depression

one of my favorites from bullets, i think it just captures what makes the album great really well

edit: 74 → 80 this one contains a lot of bangers with a couple of okay songs

why is this band so hit or miss
"Death of a Bachelor" is Panic's fifth studio album. And once again, they, or should i say Brendon, completely departed from the band's previous sound.
Following TWTLTRTD, bassist Dallon Weekes and drummer Spencer Smith departed from the band, and Brendon Urie would be the only member left. So from now on, it is basically Brendon ... read more

i expected to hate this
"Too Weird to Live, To Rare to Die!" is Panic's fourth studio LP. And honestly, i'm pretty surprised i enjoyed it as much as their last album.
Looking at the genre tags and the user score, i was rather scared going into this. I've already heard "This Is Gospel" which i liked, "Nicotine" which i loved, and ... read more

inconsistency at it's peak
"Vices & Virtues" is Panic's third studio album. And it was very close to be their best, but they blew it.
Following "Pretty. Odd.", the band had a lineup change, with guitarist Ryan Ross and bassist Jon Walker departing from the band. This led to Brendon Urie and Spencer Smith being the only remaining members of the band, and reinventing ... read more
last time i listened to them they were actually good
I haven't heard about the Voidz for a long time until today. I saw that they've released a new EP, and i wanted to check it out considering i liked their previous albums (still haven't heard their most recent one).
I'm genuinely confused because what happened to them? This EP has generally nothing going on aside from weird production choices. At least on their previous albums, they had interesting ideas that kept me ... read more

the beatles for the emo kids
This album was the last thing i expected from this band after Fever. Seems like the three year wait actually paid off.
"Pretty. Odd." is a completely new direction for Panic, and in this context, they are absolutely in the right direction. It is an improvement in every aspect compared to their debut, and while it is far from perfect, there are some genuinely ... read more

unfortunately nostalgia doesn't save this one
"A Fever You Can't Sweat Out" is Panic at the Disco's debut album. And you can completely see that.
I have some mixed thoughts about Panic. A few of their songs were a part of my childhood, but even back in the day i just couldn't bear some of the work they've put out, with "High Hopes" being the crown jewel of ... read more
this almost feels like that one mbv album
"7" was my introduction to Beach House and i have to say that it wasn't what i expected. The only song i've heard from them was "Space Song" like many people and i thought that they were some kind of mid dream pop band that got famous on TikTok.
Oh boy i was wrong.
"7" encapsulates dream pop and shoegaze elements beautifully to create such comforting atmospheres on all of the songs. Both euphoric and pure, yet ... read more
