i only listened to this album because the cover is blue (fun fact ig?)
I didn't know what to expect from this album by looking at the genre tags, so i thought it would be the best to just listen and see. This album would've been a lot better if it actually sounded experimental rather than sounding like identity crisis, but i like some of the ideas shown in songs like "Life Signs" or "Born 2", which are easily the 2 best songs here. The rest of the songs either go ... read more
I've never heard a Laufey album before, and honestly, this album makes me want to check her other albums as well. The whole album was very pleasant to listen to and her voice suits the instrumentals in a very well manner. Some of the songs had very nice instrumental moments and they have really high replay value to me, as i see myself coming back to songs like "Castle in Hollywood", "Silver Lining" or "Sabotage". Although some of the songs get a bit repetitive ... read more
This album is by far one of the most inoffensive and forgettable pop albums i've ever heard. Which is really disappointing because the opener was pretty promising and somewhat catchy. It's a shame the rest turned out to be like this, but i don't hate it. I just don't ever plan on coming back to it.

it's not even out for 10 minutes and it is my favorite song from them, this is amazingly produced and it is in fact a drum show.
27 minutes of generic pop songs that belongs to clothing shop playlists
also "i like it" has to be my least favorite song of the year so far

as epic as a comeback single can get, the guitar work absolutely rules on this one. if only i was there to experience it when it first came out...

not that great as a song, but as a letter to the fans it is a really bittersweet conclusion for MCR's legacy (at least until they came back)

both under-appreciated songs, there was a point where i only listened to CW songs and surrender the night was my most played one even though it isn't necessarily my favorite

both are sweet and gorgeous songs, but i have a soft spot for the world is ugly that makes it just a click better than the light behind your eyes

ambulance is absolute peak and gun is severely underrated

easily my favorite song from Danger Days. i genuinely think that chorus is one of the catchiest choruses this band has ever put out, and i love singing along to it until i lose my voice.

you can tell they had some fun while making this, and that is what makes it great for me. it is not the most impressive thing but i can't help but smile while listening to it.

probably the only instance where i agree with people who say it sounds generic off of any song from Danger Days. the bridge is fire tho

i know danger days gets a lot of shit for sounding generic but i think it sounds fun enough to make it an enjoyable song. the synths are what makes this song great to me.

the song that got me into MCR before i knew they were gonna be my favorite band of all time

what i'm about to say is probably unpopular but this is one of my favorite covers of all time even though i'm aware it is mixed quite strangely. it is one of the most energetic and motivating songs i have ever heard, as it's almost like a bomb from start to finish.

i don't get why people are complaining about how TBP should've ended on a stronger note, this was always the perfect ending to a perfect album to me.
