In Rainbows Disk 2 includes some of the leftovers from the band's studio album "In Rainbows".
While it is clearly not as good as the 1st disk, it still has it's moments. But i'm also glad that they left these out because i can't see any of these songs fitting into Disk 1 (maybe aside from "Down Is the New Up"). The major problem with Disk 2 is these songs generally come to me as "ideas" rather than completed songs. Most ... read more

In Rainbows is Radiohead's 7th studio album, released in October 10 2007.
At this point of the band's career, the band had already recorded multiple astonishing records, (The Bends, OK Computer, Kid A, etc.) including some of my favorites songs ever. The thing i love the most about this band so far is they never stop experimenting with their sound. they really love pushing their boundaries and crafting a completely different project from the previous one. And ... read more

"Com Lag" is an EP featuring some live performances and remixes of songs from "Hail to the Thief", and some unreleased material.
The live performances are quite great, especially the L.A. version of "I Will" which i would take over the album version any day of the week.
The unreleased songs have some cool bits as well. "Paperbag Writer" is a mysterious and experimental one with a catchy electronic beat. Also "Gagging ... read more

"Hail to the Thief" is Radiohead's sixth studio album and it is the longest project the band has put out yet. Remember when i said Amnesiac was a mixed bag? This project is 10 times more of a mixed bag than "Amnesiac" was.
First of all, this album delves more into politics than any Radiohead project did. For example, "2+2=5" is a direct reference to George Orwell's "1984", while "Sit Down. Stand Up" is inspired by ... read more

"I Might Be Wrong" is a collection of live performances of some songs from the band's two previous albums "Kid A" and "Amnesiac" (there is also an early version of a song that will be included in one of their albums later on). And holy shit, we have some amazing live performances here.
Most of these performances are superior to the studio recordings. These versions have a blend of frenetic bursts of energy and a sense of picturesque ... read more

"Amnesiac" is Radiohead's fifth studio album and it was recorded at the Kid A sessions. It was originally meant to be released as the second disk of Kid A in some kind of double album but the band decided to release them separately.
You can really see the similarity it has with Kid A, but this time it is more piano-heavy and the guitars are finally free.
The quality of this albums really differs at times. It contains some of the best and worst material the ... read more

Kid A is Radiohead's fourth studio album, released in October 2, 2000. It was released 3 years after it's predecessor, "OK Computer" which is considered to be one of the best albums of all time.
After the release of "OK Computer" and a huge tour following it, the band was sort of "burnt out"; especially Thom Yorke who nearly suffered a mental breakdown. And eventually began having some writer's block.
To battle it, the band ... read more

"OK Computer" is Radiohead's third full-length album, released 2 years after their critically acclaimed sophomore album, "The Bends". And you guessed it correct, i love this album.
One thing that Radiohead does perfectly so far is trying out something new each project, and this time it works even better than the last time. And i'm sure i am like the 15.000th person to give this album a rating higher than 90, so i'm gonna go track by track ... read more

"The Bends" is Radiohead's sophomore album, released 2 years after their debut album, "Pablo Honey". It's a big departure from their earlier grunge sound. And i have to say, they really developed themselves in every way you can possibly think.
"The Bends" is an amazing album. It has so many musical ideas that work perfectly, and even when it doesn't work perfectly, it still has a lot to offer. It makes you feel like "Pablo ... read more

"My Iron Lung" is the band's first release after their debut album "Pablo Honey". It sees the band developing their sound a bit more in these collection of 7 new tracks (and an acoustic version of creep) which i enjoy well enough. I just wish some of the parts didn't sound like incomplete demos.
The EP starts with the title track "My Iron Lung". The song references the success of their hit single "Creep" and how the band ... read more

This is my first review in this site, and it's also my first deep discography dive. I decided to start with Radiohead. Basically, i'm gonna review every album/ep that has been released by them (in chronological order).
Radiohead's debut album "Pablo Honey" just doesn't really stand out as anything special. It sounds like a project that ... read more
