One of the more fascinating things out there in the world is the Spotify page for Animotion. Despite having a massive 80s classic hit single and a status as very beloved one hit wonder song from that decade (Obsession), all you will find there is a recent reunion album and a compilation. Now, this compilation is the interesting bit: it has cover art referencing this album, but all there is on it are 8 songs and four remixes. Really, remixes? More of a pop-rock album than a synthpop one "Obsession" remains this group's best song by far. Still, the rest of the album has some catchy tunes and surprisingly proficient playing from the band. It's worth checking out.
