Interloper is a fantastic ambient album with a truckload of different textures and sounds that tickle the ears in an extremely gratifying way.

Every track on this project has a great amount of individuality despite the slow-moving, droning aspect of the genre the songs rest on. There are tracks that fit an existential crisis in space, tracks that fit a walk through a neon-lit city, tracks that feel like a backdrop or soundtrack to the best game or movie experience that you can remember. Well it’s easily my favourite right now of the 5 CBL albums I’ve heard. Nearly every single track feels like a big moment in the context of the album and there are so many beautiful pad progressions throughout everything. Some tracks are more ambient-centric, some are more acidic and driving and some have more post-rock ish elements with crashing drums. A wonderful listen!!
