Revisiting the bands classic album while I'm still feeling like listened to a lot of SDM.
Fantastic tone on this record. I love the brooding mid tempo structure of Roswell 47. Great little melodies as well. Killing Art is more traditional in structure. Peter's high vocals are fantastic and especially fresh at the time of release. Well done track.

hypocrisy manages to deliver some very well done death metal. they are very good at having a duality between riffs that sound very good and ones that are very vibey. some standouts on this album are the more thrashy tracks, especially point of no return. i also quite like the sound that theyve built here, not being too in-your-face while still having a tone that compliments the technicality of the guitars.
other than these, i cant really find anything that pushes it over an 80. super cool ... read more
