Continuing on with my dive through Rush's discography I'm now on their 14th album Roll the Bones. Unfortunately on returning to this, I don't like it anywhere near as much as I used to. Not a bad album by any means and a great step up after the last 3, but still suffers from being overlong and sounding kinda uninspired

This is my 5th review in this series. The point of this series is to find new and interesting music as a Rock and Metal fan. For this series I won't count intro's and outro's if they are listed as such, but they will get lower scores overall, unless it is an intended instrumental and not just a transition or intro/outro.

This sound doesn't suit Rush whatsoever. It seems to be a common thing that bands completely leave the style behind that got the famous in the first place. Though this can result in good albums too, in this instance that is not the case.
