 - Hellfire

Hellfire is a technical marvel and a chaotic beauty, as well as one of the most intensely insane albums I have ever heard. Black Midi perfect their craft by introducing new characters, stories, and ideas at an unfathomable velocity.

Black Midi continue thriving on their avant-prog sound by forming a hellish environment with hellish people and events residing inside. Whether it’s a murder mishap at a boxing match in the year 2163, struggles with PTSD during wartime, or the final show of a ... read more

I wanted to review this album in particular now because I believe, unequivocally, that this is one of the most underrated albums ever made. It's beauty and romanticism are unparalleled and both Hope Sandoval and the late David Roback produce one of the greatest slowcore experiences possible.

Sorry to burst your bubble, to anyone who's unfamiliar- but So Tonight That I Might See isn't just Fade Into You, even for how gorgeous that song is. The succeeding 9 tracks are all memorable and ... read more

I can't point out a single moment on this album that drags for me. It's the culmination of the Youth's sound, a truly incredible alterative statement that stands up there as one of the best.

Even though this is basically Being There but worse, there's still a decent amount to enjoy here

The first list served as kind of a trial and learning process for me, I didn't reach out to every single person I used scores from for reviews because I wanted to see if the idea would even catch on or if people would be interested. Will try to reach out to everyone for the next one!

Hey I just wanted to let you know that my list aggregating AOTY's favorite albums of the year 1970 is finally live, and that you are included in it!

This was a very big project that would not have been able to be completed without your ratings and I hope to continue this series with future installments!

If you would be so kind as to check the list out and even possibly give me any feedback at all it would be greatly appreciated! Thank you so much!

What is your favorite album of the year 1970, and could I get a few words on your thoughts on that album!?

{I’m going to be doing a series of lists where I go through AOTYs favorite albums of every year since 1970 and this is the first part of that ultimate goal!!}

@JakerpGuy - Thanks for the follow. I certainly dig your interest in Progressive Rock. Your scoring is spot on too. I've decided to give you a follow! Cheers, bruh. - @daFigz™

Hi there! I accidentally deleted my Fetch the Bolt Cutters review (instead of 'editing' it) and I'm quite pleased with it, would you mind giving it another look? I don't expect a like, just a read my friend!
